About this mod

Adds two new necromantic spells based on setting people on fire.

Permissions and credits
A group of necromancers, tired of how those filthy conjurers would brag about their wicked elemental atronachs, decided to try to imitate it by setting corpses on fire. It was a stupid idea and it didn't work. Just try using this mod instead.

Description

This mod adds two new spells to the game based on summoning people that are presumably, and hopefully, dead that are also on fire. They can be learned by obtaining the two respective spelltomes. One is located at the abandoned farmhouse south of the Western Watchtower. The other is located at a small camp east of the Sundered Towers. These are both necromantic spells and thus benefit from all relevant bonuses to necromancy.

Summon Flaming Human
Summon the tortured soul of an incinerated corpse for 60 seconds.

Summon Charred Skeleton
Summon the blackened and burning skeleton of a victim burned alive for 60 seconds.

FAQ
  • Why?
Why not, you monster.
  •  What's these texture files doing in here?
There weren't any vanilla texture that fit into what I wanted make, thus I did have to add in my own. It's a 2k texture, so I hope that isn't going to cause problems for anyone.
  •  Your summon is stealing my weapons!
It's true, she is. Since one of my summons is an unarmed humanoid, she will rush to pick up the first weapon she can find on the ground. This means occasionally she'll take that weapon with her back to whatever hell she came from. Be careful of what you leave lying around.

Afterward
While I tried to do extensive balance testing, I'm not totally sure of how to actually do good balance testing. If as a result you feel the mod is unbalanced (in one direction or the other) please let me know so I have some feedback for possible adjustment.
