About this mod

A small mod that prints the keywords of your equipped weapons, spells and outfit parts. For Perkus Maximus users, it shows the diagrams of Weapons classes and ranks.

Requirements
Permissions and credits
This is a small mod that I made for myself a long time ago, when I was first testing t3nd0's Perkus Maximus. Perma adds tons of new weapon classes, and since I was also using Immersive Weapons, I wanted to know how these new weapons classify. Unfortunately, the only way to do that was to Alt+Tab and visist Perma's Webpage.

Well, not anymore.

Keyword Check is a simple mod that prints all the keywords of your currently equipped weapon, spell and outfit parts. Due to mechanical nature of this process, this might take a second or two.

Despite the original intent, Perkus Maximus is NOT necessary for it to load. With PerMa, however, you can look up two diagrams t3nd0 put on his page. I hope he will not hunt me down for using it.

I'm uploading it because of request on Reddit's /r/SkyrimMods.

If you encounter any problems, let me know by message or post.

Version Log:
1.5 (2021-03-03)
  • Added Faction list (would have added it sooner but for some freaking reason, the list of ALL THE PAPYRUS function on the wiki is INCOMPLETE, missing GetFactions() andprobably dozens of others. Would have added it, but for some reason the wiki treats me like a spam ). You can choose whether list player's factions or whoever is selected by crosshair. Lists faction's name (if applicable), rank, Form ID and any bounty player has.

1.4 (2021-01-19)
  • Fixed the "remember" function, now it separates to spells and weapons.
  • Each form now shows form ID, spells show whether they are hostile
  • Added a whole new page called "Spell List"which lists ALL spells, including invisible abilities, quest monitors, etc.

1.3 (2018-11-25)

Decided to revisit the old mod for the slow SE release, added a few functions.
For once, I added translations for the MCM. Currently, it supports Polish and English. Feel free to send me yours txt files if you'd like to translate it. No need to mess with the ESP, it doesn't have any strings that show up in the game anyway.

  • In the three years' time it has apparently became possible to produce words and spells from shouts... or maybe I was a dumbass all along. Either way now Power tab also supports currently equipped shout. Known words are highlighted, unknown are dimmed. Don't be alerted by several headers with similar names, in most cases shout, its spells and their magic effect are all called the same. Added "I", "II" and "III" markings to separate words.
  • Weapons/spell tab has now "remember" feature. You can toggle it, and it will, as you might have deduced, remember the stats. Useful if you are going through bajilion swords to see which one is really the best, or if you are comparing two two-handed weapons. Simply tick the "remember" in one panel, and it will stay there until you untick it.
  • Added a few more useful notifications for Perma users, if you are a player that would go for the "Disarming charisma" perk, which requires you to wear certain amount of expensive clothing and jewellery.

1.2 (2015-07-31)

IF YOU ARE UPDATING FROM PREVIOUS VERSIONS: I think I might have borked the update part of the MCM script, which means you won't be able to update the mod - you would have to uninstall and reinstall the mod. Since it consists of only one thing - the menu, it is totally safe.

Removed and old script file that was first version of the MCM script.

Added quite a few new options:

  • Spells now show the base cost, effective cost, as well as area, duration and magnitude of each effect. This is something I might need for other project I might be working on... regardless of that, this is quite useful for checking what affects your perks, etc.
  • Weapons now show min/max range (which is usually 0, unless you carry a bow/crossbow)
  • New page - Power Keywords show all the details about lesser/greater power. I tried doing the same thing with shouts, but unfortunately I can't figure out how to produce the spells associated with shouts from the shout itself. After searching CK wikia I'm not sure if it is even possible. If you happen to know how - let me know it.
  • Masquerade page - added vanilla mission DB09 ("To kill an Empire") where you get an extra dialogue if you actually look like a chef.

1.1.1 - (main file) - fixed typos

Added two optional files that fix very common problem that showed up a few times on /r/PerkusMaximus subreddit. People after taking the Masquerade perk in Perma/Skyre want to test it out during the "Missing in Action" (MS09) quest in Northwatch keep, where you have to free a thalmor prisoner. Then they think something is not working, since the Thalmor agents there are hostile to them. That's because they are not Thalmor. These NPCs have their own faction (MS09NorthwatchFaction) and are being based on levelled Thalmor NPC that lack Thalmor Faction... for some reason. In order to keep it as compatible as possible, two fixes are given, one for SkyRe, one for Perma.

  • Fix for Perma modifies only the magic effect associated with Masquerade active spell, allowing the effect to work when the NPC is in either of the factions.
  • Fix for SkyRe is a tiny bit more intrusive; it adds the MS09NorthwatchFaction as an ally to the xxxSNEMasqueradeThalmorFaction and vice-versa.
Let me know if there are any problems with them, I've tested them and it seems they work fine, but you never know.

1.1 - Updated version. If you do not get it, uninstall and reinstall, it's safe, since it's only an MCM menu.
Changes:
 - Outfit clunky two-paged info is now one nice page where you can choose the slot you want to inspect,
 - Outfit page now shows base armor rating,
 - Weapons page now shows Stagger/Speed/Range/base rating of a weapon,
 - Masquerade page added. Supports vanilla missions (Main Quest "Diplomatic Immunity" and CW 03 Mission "False Front") as well as Skyrim Redone's and Perkus Maximus' Masquerade perks (it also shows the requirements of each). Give me info if I missed anything.

1.0 - First version.

Disclaimer:
This is my second mod. The chances of your PC blowing up after using it are lower, but still nonzero.
