This mod adds a small, modest basement player home to the Ramshackle Trading Post. Centrally located on Solstheim, it is available as soon as you find the key. Lots of storage, bookshelves, some crafting, and with a night-time vendor.

This mod adds a small basement player home to the Ramshackle Trading Post on Solstheim. Centrally located on the island, the relatively humble and spartan player home is available without you having to go through any lenghty Black Book quests. Just locate the key and you've got yourself a starting home on Solstheim.
Features:
Bed with well-rested bonus.
Alchemy and Enchanting.
Tanning Rack and Anvil (outside behind the shack)
Shrine of Kynareth.
Lots of safe storage (a dozen containers of different types).
Lots of Bookshelves (162 books).
1 Weapon Rack (2 weapons) and 1 Weapon Plaque.
Your own night-time dark elf vendor conveniently available in Falas Selvayn.
Requirements:
Dragonborn DLC.
How to aquire it:
It seems that the key somehow has gone missing. Maybe someone has found or stolen the key, perhaps without realizing what to use it for?
Compability:
This mod edits the following Solstheim exterior cells:
14,10 (Ramshackle Trading Post exterior)
13,10
15,9 (Reaver Camp)
...and will be incompatible with othermods that do the same.
Known Issues:
If you attack Falas Selvayn he will turn hostile but be unkillable. To make access to your basement easier at night-time (and reset Felas Selvayn's disposition towards you) you can do the following:
1) Run away from the fight and fast travel to another location (like Raven Rock)
2) Wait until day-time when Felas is off-work (= not at Ramshackle Trading Post).
3) Travel back to Ramshackle Trading Post and enter your basement home.
4) Wait and exit from the basement at night-time. Felas Selvayn will be present and friendly.
Installation
Download with Nexus Mod Manager or download the loose zip file, extract the content (a whole .esp file!) and paste it into your Skyrim-Data directory. Remember to activate it.

The basement has been navmeshed, and the mod has been cleaned with TES5Edit.

Search for a nearby reaver camp.

The reaver camp is located just southeast over the hill from Ramshackle Trading Post. Find the knapsack behind the chair.
