About this mod

Meridia demands that you bring her light to battle the undead of Skyrim, Tamriel, and beyond.

Meridia’s Favor

The Daedric Prince of Life & Lady of Infinite Energies demands that you spread her cleansing light.

What This Mod Is
This mod is a first take on some gear that I've tried to match in flavor to a killer of undead who has gained some of the ultimate favor from Meridia. I've added a Helmet, Necklace, Chest Piece, Gauntlets, Boots, Cloak, Ring, and Shield. Right now they are simply recipes you get with Ebony Smithing that
you make at any smithing forge. The recipes often involve ingredients that either demonstrate that you killed (or at least looted) undead, both Moonstone and Ebony (which in my head makes the Ivory of the Ancient Falmor armor), and examples of ingredients for potions that do the same thing as the enchants. See below for some big plans and a call for help with them.

My Other Daedric Prince Gear Set Mods
Hircine's Raiment V2.0 (Light Armor & Several Weapons themed around fighting animals and survival): Hircine's Raiment on Nexus
Vile Equipment (Heavy Armor themed around deception and trickery): Coming Soon...
Plague of Molag Bal (Light Armor befitting his greatest creations): Coming Soon...
Armor of the Forsaken (Armor and weapons optimized for a child of Malacath): Coming Later...

A Note on Borrowed Resources

I'm using a cloak from Cloaks of Skyrim (Mesh and Texture) based on his implicit permission at the bottom of the mod's page.
I use Ancient Falmer Armor because I cannot recolor Ebony Armor (I'd love to do a white recolor and call it Ivory that I'd make by mixing Moonstone with Ebony).

Details

All the armor is technically Ebony but with stats chosen to be close to Daedric. All the armor is therefore Heavy (and the helmet is a heavy criclet lol) and you can temper them with slightly flavorful recipes. None of the items may be disenchanted and all these are categorized as Daedric Artifacts. This mod requires Dawnguard and Dragonborn because of model/texture reasons!

Amulet of Safeguarding – This amulet is really simple and offers a 10% boost to both Health and Magicka Regeneration Rates. See Future Plans for what I want it to do.
Recipe: 1 Refined Moonstone, 1 Silver Ingot, & 1 Daedra Heart.

Boots of Vitality - This armor grants an enchantment called Cheat Death which makes Restoration Spells 40% cheaper and if less than 10% Health you have a 50% chance to ignore all incoming damage from an Undead source.
Recipe: 1 Refined Moonstone, 1 Ebony Ingot, 2 Bone Meal, 2 Small Pearls, and 1 Daedra Heart.
Temper: 2 Bone Meal and 2 Small Pearls.

Crown of Infinite Energies - This helmet (which is really a heavy circlet) grants Life's Sight which makes Restoration Spells 40% cheaper and gives you the minor power to see nearby undead (found amoungst your racial abilities) for 60 sec through walls and shit like the Detect Undead spell.
Recipe: 1 Refined Moonstone, 1 Ebony Ingot, 1 Ectoplasm, 1 Small pearl, and 1 Daedra Heart.
Temper: 1 Ectoplasm and 1 Small Pearl.

Cuirass of Refuge - This armor gives you Refuge from Undead which increases Health, Magicka, and Stamina by 50 as well as reducing all incoming damage from Undead sources by 25%.
Recipe: 2 Refined Moonstone, 2 Ebony Ingots, 4 Leather Strips, 2 Ectoplasm, 1 Red Mountain Flower, 1 Blue Mountain Flower, 1 Lavender, and 1 Daedra Heart.
Temper: 1 Ebony Ingot, 1 Ectoplasm, 1 Red Mountain Flower, 1 Blue Mountain Flower, and 1 Lavender (flowers are pretty!).

Gauntlets of Fiery Wrath - Adds Smite Undead which adds 10% to weapon damage and 25% to fire spell damage again undead targets.
Recipe: 1 Refined Moonstone, 1 Ebony Ingot, 2 Leather Strips, 2 Small Pearls, 2 Fire Salts, 1 Vampire Dust, and 1 Daedra Heart.
Temper: 1 Refined Moonstone, 1 Small Pearl, 1 Fire Salts, and 1 Vampire Dust.

Meridia's Embrace - This cloak is really really really fucking white.  That's it... no really it adds most of the DragonPriestUltraEffect because reasons: when under 15% health there is a 15% chance to heal up to full and flame cloak some shit... no summoning!
Recipe: 4 Linen, 2 Leather Strips, 2 Small Pearls, 1 Vampire Dust, and 1 Daedra Heart.

Meridia's Glow - This shield adds an enchantment of the same name: Fortify Block by 30% and upon bashing an undead you turn undead up to level 40 for 5 seconds in a 5 foot radius.
Recipe: 1 Refined Moonstone, 2 Ebony Ingots, 1 Tome of Bane of the Undead, 1 Vampire Dust, 1 Leather Strip, and 1 Daedra Heart.
Temper: 1 Refined Moonstone, 1 Ebony Ingot, 1 Vampire Dust.

Ring of Khajiiti -  Per lore I made this silver ring grant 10% bonus to movement speed and Fortify Sneak 25.
Recipe: 1 Refined Moonstone, 2 Ectoplasm, 2 Vampire Dust, and 1 Daedra Heart.

Dawnbreaker - I just did a replacement making it an Ebony sword and increasing the VanDamage a tiny bit.

Future Plans & A Call For Help
I'm a novice when it comes to modding, and this is my second personal mod I've put out into the wild (See Hircine's Raiment). But I have bigger plans for it so I wanted to see if I could strike up interest.
  • I would like all of these recipes tied to a quest chain. This chain would first involve clearing out Meridia's Temple. I've always thought the sword was badass but her reasoning of "Here is a sword now go get 'em champ" was kind of anticlimatic. I'd like to build some dungeons and some quests that lead you through becoming a legit undead killing machine.
  • Connected to the above goal I'd like to make each recipe craftable only once (via the quest).
  • I'd like to tone down each bonus (or outright remove some) and then have them grow in strength (and number) as the player is wearing more items.  I think I can do this with a custom Keyword and then putting something to that effect into the conditions of abilities.  Does that sound right?
  • I want the amulet to offer 0% regen rate increase if no undead are nearby and then ramp this up to 100% depending on both the number and proximity of undead, but... I suck and can't figure it out.
  • I'd like to actually test all the more bizzare abilities I made, but I am not sure how to test them: Cheat Death, Smite Undead, Meridia's Embrace ability, and I don't think the shield is turning undead...
