Dawnbreaker Redone

By Billyro

Attention!

Dawnbreaker Redone 2 is now available!

Description

This mod remakes Dawnbreaker with brand new meshes and textures.

Optional Files

Glow FX: Adds the original glow effect back to Dawnbreaker. This is an optional file because there is minor clipping.

Glow FX No Sun: Adds the original glow effect back to Dawnbreaker, and removes the sun disc from the crossguard. This is an optional file because the design isn't as I intended, but there is less clipping than the above optional file.

Low Resolution Textures: Half-size textures for weaker computers that need it.

Two-Handed Optional Files: Allows you to convert Dawnbreaker into a two-handed sword at any forge (and back, if you want).

DSR Compatibility: Allows this to work with Dual Sheath Redux. Thanks to Kimala for the help!

Compatibility

This mod is a standard replacer and contains no .esp file, which means it should be compatible with any mods that alter the artifact's stats.

Mods that retexture the original Dawnbreaker will have no effect.

As of v2, Dual Sheath Redux is compatible (requires the optional file to function).

Installation

Copy the meshes and textures folder to your Skyrim\Data folder. That's it! Alternatively, you can download with NMM and activate it through that.

Permissions

Feel free to use this in your own mods - all I ask is that you credit me and provide a link to this mod page.

Changelog

v2: Sword shape tweaked (bigger, cooler), textures tweaked (darker, shinier, more metallic, extra details), added DSR Patch (thanks to Kimala)

v1: Initial release
