It has always bothered me how you have a map, compass, and journal, but none of these ever show up in your inventory. It's a small complaint, but that's what modding is for, right?

This mod adds two new items to the game, found in the Riverwood Trader for early-game convenience. You can also teleport them in by using console commands.

The Journal and Map weigh 2.0 each. Works well with any mod that realistically alters your carry weight.

This was primarily made for personal use. If you have any ideas, perhaps different locations to place the items or more immersive ways of obtaining them, please drop a comment.

Side note: These items do not affect your ability to use your map or quest logs. They are simply cosmetic items added to your inventory. As this is my first real mod using the Creation Kit, I'm afraid it's the best I can do.
