About this mod

A reintroduction of an old mod by SephDragoon with some minor tweaks

This is a re-upload and tweaking of the mod Wearable Elder Scrolls by SephDragoon.

Long story short this mod makes elder scrolls usable by making the elder scrolls wearable and giving them enchantments that will be useful no matter what level/difficulty setting you are/use.

It's the fist mod in a series I plan on making to overhaul the various artifacts in skyrim.

Below is a Description/rant on why this exists. It begins and ends at #

Have you ever thought that for all the hype made about the artifacts in game, they really never measured up? I mean take the Elder scrolls themselves, said to be limitless fonts of forbidden knowledge and arcane power, some of the most important artifacts to ever exist, and the item that shares the very name of the series, and what do you get in game? An unreadable book with a total of 2 cut-scenes(and that's only if you have DLC). I personally felt that Bethesda May make amazing games, beautiful landscapes, and rich lore, but they fall flat on their face when it comes to making everything to scale.

I do appreciate that they lowered the power level of, well, Everything so that the game wouldn't be frustrating and unplayable(exept I personally thought that was what the difficulty slider was for. So that new gamers could turn it to novice while fighting mudcrabs to get their barrings and hardcores (psychotics) like me could turn it to legendary and fight Miraak the 153rd time that day because his super-sayain-omega shout kills you in one hit at level 153.) Yet I have to say they really took it too far. Take alduin for instance, firstborn child of the god of time, king of the dragons, has an unlimited supply of free power(sovenguard), and is powerful enough to eat entire worlds (and has already done so in lore, look it up). What is the fight in game? A normal fight with a dragon that has one unique shout and the rest vanilla. Underwhelming to say the least.

All I can say is thank god for the nexus. Now that there are hundreds of mods out there that game more difficult, I want to focus on making the artifacts more useful. I plan to make a series of mods that overhual all skyrim artifacts to scale with player level and provide small unique bonuses depending on the item. I must admit though that this first mod olready existed before I uploaded it, fullcredit to  SephDragoon.

Spoilers

To make the scrolls go to a cooking pot to make the potions of purify scroll (scroll name). Drinking it will "purify" the scrolls and allow you to equip them.(yes I know it's a weird system, but it keeps the mod from messing with the quests their needed for. that is unless you use the potion before completing the quest)
I am not finished debugging it so Don Not drink the potions before completing the dawngaurd or main quests, you can't coplete them otherwise.
