About this mod

Makes Hypothermia 1.5 aware of campfires made with Chesko´s new "Campfire - Complete Camping System"

Requirements
Permissions and credits
Summary
The patch makes n1t0r´s survival mod Hypothermia v1.5 aware of Chesko´s Campfire - Complete Camping System´s crackling and roaring campfires in the vicinity of the player. Effect: player receives the "Fire´s warmth"-Buff.

Requirements
Might seem obvious, but your game will crash without both of these active:
Campfire - Complete Camping System by Chesko
Hypothermia v1.5 by n1t0r

Installation:
Copy the .esp-file in Skyrim´s data folder
Run LOOT. If you sort manually, put the patch anywhere after Hypothermia.esp

Update
Unzip the archive in Skyrim´s data folder overwriting the old .esp.

Changelog
1.1 Campfire-IDs removed from Formlist HypoFiresCommon and instead added to Formlist HypoFiresFurniture.
Resolves (uncritical) conflict with optional Hypothermia-DLC.esp. Users not using Hypothermia-DLC.esp don't need this update.
1.0 Initial Version

Modders Info:

Hypothermia script "HypoFireScan" scans for the presence of "heat-producing" game objects within three different radii around the player. Small fires are scanned for within a radius of 170, normal fires within a radius of 450 and giant fires within a radius of 800 around the player. If one or more fire is/are found, the player receives a single "Fire´s Warmth"-Buff. The buff is always the same. You do not receive a "stronger" buff when standing directly in front of a giant fire. However, you have to be closer to a small fire than a giant fire to receive the buff.

With my patch, fragile and flickering campfires (still) do not give any buff, and crackling and roaring campfires both give the buff within the same radius (450). Crackling and roaring campfires cannot compete with giant fires. On the other hand both are stronger than almost all of the "small fires", which are typically some kind of brazier, with very few exceptions (e.g. unscheduled fires in helgen houses due to prior dragon attacks). To me it doesn´t make much sense to put crackling campfires in the "small section", but of course there is room left for a Pro-Version of the patch ;) Just kidding.

The form IDs of the fires are compiled in five formlists (e.g. HypoFiresCommon, HypoFiresFurniture). One of these formlists contains the small fires, another one the giant fires and all the rest contain normal fires. The objects in HypoFiresFurniture (e.g. Blacksmith Forge) are of type FURN, all others are of type MSTT. Chesko´s basic unlit campfire (the stone circle) is a workbench and hence of type FURN. The four types of (lit and unlit) campfires (fragile, flickering, crackling and roaring) are of type ACTI. The patch ver. 1.1 adds the lit variants of Chesko´s crackling and roaring fires to Hypothermia´s formlist "HypoFiresFurniture". Therefore with the patch active the formlist HypoFiresFurniture contains objects of two different types (FURN and ACTI). During my tests this didn´t produce issues.
