Spell Trigger Enchantments

Adds a few new enchantments which can automagically cast specific spells when entering combat or when hit by magic.

There are eight new different enchantments in total:

  • Light Guard cast Candle Light when entering combat
  • Oak Guard cast Oak Flesh when entering combat
  • Stone Guard cast Stone Flesh when entering combat
  • Iron Guard cast Iron Flesh when entering combat

  • Wrath of Fire higher chance of scoring critical hits for a short time when hit by magic fire
  • Wrath of Winter attacks do more damage for a short time when hit by magic frost
  • Wrath of Storm increased attack speed for a short time when hit hit by magic lightning
  • Elemental Wrath all the wrath enchantments combined in one

Starting at level 5 the enchantments can be found on items worn by dungeon bosses around Skyrim.

All items except the Ring of Elemental Wrath can be disenchanted
and the enchantments can then be placed on most equipment.

When equipped the enchantments will work for everyone: the player, followers and of course dungeon bosses too...

MOD status: (mostly) finished
Cleaned: yes
Script load:
low
Compatibility: high
Dependencies: skyrim.esm
Install/Uninstall: Anytime except during combat when the Storm Guard spell is active. So don't save during combat or don't uninstall this mod and there should be no problems.

Random Notes:

  • This MOD aims at improving both dungeon loot and boss fights by placing the enchanted items on the boss and not in the chest.
  • The most powerful Elemental Wrath ring drops at level 50+.
  • If you don't like to 'grind' dungeons to get the items you can just add the rings through console commands as usual.
  • The enchantments work best for melee characters. Especially if you have a mage follower who likes to spam Chain Lightnings. ( Serana? I'm looking at you... )
