Features:
=========
There have been many mods that add chainmail armors to Skyrim. This is simply my own take on the idea and is sort of an experiment in 3D modeling and creating custom textures. All textures and models (except the gambeson which is based off the vanilla fine clothes) were custom made by myself and designed with the intent of being used with other armors and accessories; hence the "generic-ness" of the overall design.

This mod adds chainmail hauberks and coifs in four different variations: steel, dwarven, orcish, and ebony.

Also, this mod adds chainmail aventails in the same four varieties that can be worn with helmets. I tried to size the aventails to look good with most open-faced helmets.

All armors in this mod have full support for all races and sexes! :D

Installation:
=============
Use NMM to install

or

Extract the esp and bsa into the data folder

If you are using the scripted version, a message in game should appear letting you know the mod is installed.

Uninstallation:

Use NMM to uninstall

or

Remove the bsa and esp file

Compatibility:
==============
The aventails in this mod uses item slot 44. That piece of armor can't be worn with other items that use slot 44.

This mod comes in two versions. The first uses leveled lists in the esp and will require merge patches to ensure compatibility with other mods that add new armors. The second version adds the items to the leveled lists via scripting and should be the most compatible when it comes to mods that add new armors. Pick one of the two versions depending on your preference and load order.

Besides that, this mod is pretty simple and should be pretty much compatible with everything.

Recommended Mods:
Immersive Armors by hothtrooper44
The aventails added by my mod really complement some of the helmets added by this one.

Early-Middleages Helmets by VAultMaN30
Again, the aventails look really nice with the helmets from this pack. BTW, if you want to see a different take on chainmail armor, check out this mod also by him if you want.

Winter is Coming - Cloaks by nivea
The chainmail in my mod is really generic so adding cloaks and hoods on top of them make your character look nice. :P

Bandolier - Bags and Pouches by Dragten
Again, accessorizing yourself will remove the "generic-ness" of the armor

Generally speaking, any mod that adds new helmets or accessories works really nice with this one. :P
