Yes, that's right! A completely free companion.

Free?

Yes my fine furry friend. 100% annoying and absa-frigging-lutely free! Nobody earns anything with this mod. Nobody that is except you. Because you earn the respect and cuddly love of the majority of the modding community by installing this free mod. And I wouldn't be surprised if this will also make you more popular with girls too.

We'll is this mod any good.. I mean it's free so it's likely to have low standards.

Haha (laughs so much he nearly drops his glass of port) rest assured my chum. Rest safe in the assurance that your question is irrelevant and not worth troubling your funny little mind with. (Reaches for his pipe). What does it matter? It's free. We all like free things don't we?

Well, you maybe right. But I still expect a good product, free or not.

Oh come now, surely we don't have to concern ourselves with niggling concepts like consumer satisfaction now do we? Well not here at least. This is a free mod and therefore by its very nature, it should be allowed to be truly free, which means that it shouldn't be bound by any restrictions like the shackles of consumer and corporate tomfoolery. (Pauses to glance out of his study window.. his face fixed with a solemn longing mixed with a realisation that the world must always change and that therefore his own opinions are ultimately futile)

This is freedom my friend. we are free to make whatever we want just for the hell of it. And from freedom comes true creativity! We aren't burdened or bound by the incentive that gold brings.

 So calm down my friend... quit this obsession with quality. This is my gift to you and I give it freely.

But seriously. ..

As an effort to voice my feelings regarding ModPayGate, I started work upon this rather silly/useless/annoyingly simple follower on the morning of Sunday 26th April 2015 with the intent of releasing him exclusively on the Steam Workshop. By the next day however, the panic was over when the issues of paid mods were removed  (although many fear/wish it's eventual return ).

But, now I was left with a rather silly and simple npc with no home to go to.

After some thought, I realised that in truth I have never been a big fan of the workshop

a; because  I barely use it and therefore don't quite understand it.

b; because the very first comment I ever received stated that I was wasting my time on the nexus and that i should post my mods on Steam... I have ever since endeavoured to prove that person wrong (Check first comment on Benjamin).

So anyway.. In conclusion I have decided to post my mod here on the nexus, because quite frankly the nexus has always been the place for me, as a mod user and creator.

Recently a strange line seems to have been drawn between the user and creator, which I find odd. Odd because this place is a hive of creativity; it's like the bleeding lion king or something. . A circle of life! Users, inspired by what they use, eventually are drawn to become creators themselves. There is no difference between any of us. We all come from the same place.. from the love of a game.



Where to find him

You will find Humphrey close to Solitude Saw mill. Follow the river bank towards the docks.

Additional:

I appreciate that this follower will eventually annoy you. Which is why I have made a random dialogue option available which will allow you to remove his essential protection.. in a nutshell, you'll be able to kill him. 

Well don't blame me if you end up being the one to suffer for such actions!

P.s. As an added bonus  (or because I know this work is somewhat sparse in its content ) I have also included two Inquisitor helms which are wearable.  Don't forget to loot the bodies of Humphrey's captors.
