About this mod

Third Person Perspective, gender neutral Main Menu replacer with enhanced vanilla music.

Permissions and credits
This is my first official mod.  I'm a musician, and I play piano/keyboard, as well as sing.  I've also had several small roles in the amazing and immersive "Interesting NPC's" Mod by Kris Takahashi.  (Credited as "Patrick Mahoney," my name, not user name).

DESCRIPTION:

Having been blown away by some of the creative choices for main menu replacers, as well as music out there, I thought I'd try my hand at one.  I play as a variety of characters, many of them female.  However, since the gaming industry is decidedly 'male gaze,' I wanted to create a character/screenshot for my menu that reflected gender neutrality.  Similar to the BioWare "DI:A" cover.

*The image is a translucent collage of screenshots with a watercolor effect, and the skyrim/Imperial emblem in the center, opaque.

*The music, unlike many replacers, features Jeremy Soule's brilliant and badass "Dragonborn," with my own personal additions:
 -piano
 -electric violin
 -oboe(s)
-organ bells
 -an overall more ambient 'aura'
Mood: Skyrim's a cold, nordic place.  The mods I use transform my playthrough into a more "oblivionized" (still harsh experience).  So the music feels more like Westeros or Cyrodiil than skyrim.

Pairs Well With:

Novajam's brilliant 'Elder Scrolls General Loadscreen replacer.  Though it's not without its imperfections, if you want to truly change up the atmosphere of your screens, his watercolor-effect screenshots make the game a true fantasy experience.

SkyUI.  Need I say more?

CREDITS AND THANKS:

-Bethesda for making a great game, if a bit flawed.
-The modders who make my playthroughs so immersive.
-Jeremy Soule, for his brilliant composition.
