Have you ever found the MOST AWESOMEST weapon or armor for your Dovahkiin, but were disappointed that its stats were locked in, being either too overpowered for a starting-level character, or too weak for a late-game character?   Maybe the armor is heavy when you prefer light, or vice versa?  Maybe the mod author lets you make multiple versions, but just doesn't offer exactly what you were hoping for?

Then 'SHACE' is for you!

DESCRIPTION: A new set of "Adventurer's" weapons and armor have been added to the Helgen Keep Warden's Chest.  By default, this is a set of Hide-quality Light armor (helmet, cuirass, boots, bracers), clothes for mages (circlet, outfit, shoes, gloves), and Iron-quality weapons (sword, war axe, mace, dagger, bow).

With the usual materials, these items can be transformed into equivalent Heavy armor or appropriate Two-handed weapons.  As you earn Smithing perks, they can be upgraded by tiers all the way to Daedric or Dragon-quality equipment.  All items may be enchanted and tempered (if applicable).  They can also be broken down and reforged to make available for re-enchanting.  There is always a material cost, to prevent abuse.  This gear has been balanced and tuned independent of base game values.  Light weapon versions (Elven, Advanced, Glass, and Dragon) swing faster for higher DPS, while Heavy weapon versions (Dwarven, Orcish, Ebony, Daedric) swing slower, but deal boosted Critical damage.

New in Version 1.2: To increase support for mage Dovahkiin, 'SHACE' now includes 100+ enchanted staves across all five schools of magic that can be crafted and upgraded at the forge.  New staff recipes are made available as your base Enchanting skill levels, rather than being unlocked with perks.  This is completely independent of the staff crafting system introduced in Dragonborn, so there's no need to go all the way to Solstheim to get just the right staff that compliments your play style.

But wait, there's more!

You may notice from the screenshots that the armor is put together to resemble the Dovahkiin from Skyrim's announcement trailer.  Unlike other mods, which may simply point to vanilla assets and lock you into that exact look, this mod repackages the meshes into unique folders.  It is my express intention that you replace these meshes with whatever mod assets you want!

Want to wear jojjo's popular Frostmourne and Lich King's Armor from beginning to end?  Install his mod as you normally would, but rename his meshes to match mine and move them into my "SHACE" folder tree, found inside \Skyrim\Data\Meshes\.  Click "Yes" to overwrite and you're done!  (Make sure to keep his textures in place.)  No ESP other than mine is necessary.  Via this method, pretty much any asset you think of can be integrated into SHACE!

If you're using a mod like ASLAL to skip the vanilla introductory sequence, you can return to Helgen at any time and pick up your gear.  Or use CC to look up the "Adventurer's Chest" and spawn it right at your feet.  Or if you're installing this mid-game, look up the "Cheat Chest" which contains every version of every item added by SHACE.  Skip the smithing and rummage around for the set of gear that suits your play-style.

Upload a shot of your Dovahkiin and show us what you're rockin'!

REQUIREMENTS: Dawnguard and Dragonborn DLCs.  Hearthfire is NOT required.

COMPATIBILITY:  SHACE is compatible with pretty much everything!  There are no scripts and no leveled lists are edited.  SHACE uses only Bethesda's material tags, so mods that alter crafting categories (like CCOR) or smithing perks (like my favorite, SPERG) should be 100% compatible.  Naturally, meshes from any body mod can be swapped into SHACE.

INSTALLATION: The main mod archive is packed so as to be handled automatically by NMM or MO.

To install manually, extract the contents of "SH Adventurer's Confiscated Equipment.RAR" to your Skyrim Data folder.  When prompted, click "Yes" to add "SHACE" to the meshes folder.

To uninstall manually, delete "SH Adventurer's Confiscated Equipment.ESP" from your Skyrim Data folder, then go into \Meshes\ and delete the "SHACE" folder.  That's all!

Download the optional "SHACE Documents" archive for further details, including a more thorough Readme and a "Tiered Stats" text doc, which lists equipment values and how Adventurer gear differs from base game values.  If you have any questions or concerns, please post in the comments section or contact me via PM.

DISCLAIMER: This mod is a Nexus exclusive and should be found nowhere else.  Users are welcome (and encouraged) to alter this mod to their liking, but please do not reupload it anywhere else.  Thanks and enjoy!

BTW if you're curious, my Dovahkiin is wearing Tsun Female Armor by FallenJudge (CBBE version) and the 'Pit Fighter Circlet' from CONAN Hyborian Age by Prometheus, wielding the 'Atlantean Sword' from same, with the 'Aegis of Champions' from Ghosu's Weapon Pack.  She's also wearing earrings from Nostromo79's Pierced Ears and a nose ring from Regn's Facial Piercings.  Her body tat is a tweak of M0ckin9bird's Lilith Tattoo from Borderlands (off-site link).  Textures in all screenshots come from aMidianBorn Book of Silence by CaBaL & EmeraldReign and EotW Mage Robes of Skyrim by EcthelionOtW & misslexi.  Screenshots are taken using I Can't Believe It's Not ENB 3 by ElSopa.
