About this mod

This is our remodeling of the popular Breezehome in Whiterun. We remodeled the home to be more thorough in resources, so any player can grow more easily and in lore friendly ways. We made the home more appealing & things more logical but not too lavish. There are added abilities, perks, weapons, a spell and 3 NPCs.

Thank you for viewing our mod. This is our remodeling of the popular Breezehome in Whiterun to be more thorough in resources so any player can grow & craft more easily and in as lore friendly a way as possible. We made the home more appealing & logical but not too lavish. There are added abilities, perks, weapons, a spell and 3 NPCs and a bit of retexturing so it's unique. This is a bit more than just a home makeover.

- HEARTHFIRES & DRAGONBORN & DAWNGUARD DLCs are REQUIRED for this mod to function or you will CTD at startup.
If you experience issues with floors being doubled or invisible interferances or vanilla attributes blocking cellar access etc... THESE ARE EXAMPLES OF MOD CONFLICTS and can be fixed by moving THIS mod down the load order until they disapear. Lower in the load order is better.

- The "Incendiary Arrows with Fire Salts Crafting" included in this mod is available separately. Incendiary Arrows with Fire Salts Crafting-STEAM
- This Breezehome mod works extremely well with "JK Crafting Breakdown" and slightly extends it http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/13116/?
- This mod is compatible with "General Stores - Breezehome" http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/18340/? (main file)
http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/25282/? (breezehome add-on) (recommended) & most Lydia mods.
-We also highly recommend using "Multiple Floors Sandboxing" as it works well with the expanded layout of this home https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/57376?tab=files
- If you like the home please ENDORSE it etc.. :-) Thanks.

-Current mod status:
Mainly done at this time...although we may surprise people with a special update at an undetermined point. Any glitches will be fixed as they are reported or found if possible so please let us know if you find any issues.

The additional crafting items in the basement are tied to the PRE-EXISTING HOME UPGRADES that you buy from the steward and are listed in the "Whiterun Home Decorating Guide Revised" located on the Lectern IN the home. THE ALCHEMY ROOM IS TIED TO THE BEDROOM UPGRADE...DO NOT BUY THE ALCHEMY ROOM UPGRADE.
NOTE: The skill building aspect of the in home amenities (smelter, cooking pot, tanning rack & oven) is limited to those specifically. The vanilla ones found outside the home are unchanged.
- Forge (with FX and retexturing) (with 1 Armor Mannequin)
- Smithing/Grinding Wheel.
- Workbench. (with 1 Armor Mannequin)
- Enchanting Table.
- Grain Mill. (retextured and builds the players alchemy skill)
- Baking Oven (builds the players alchemy skill)
- Tanning Rack. (builds the players smithing skill)
- A Smelter & Dwemer Ventilation system. (builds the players smithing skill)
- Outside Garden & fence.
- Flower boxes on exterior windows.
- Additional home decorations.
- Wood flooring on the 1st & 2nd floors as well as near the roof peaks.
- Noble furniture...mostly.
- Revised cooking area with ventilation & FX. (retextured and builds the players alchemy skill)
- Separate Dining nook on the 1st floor.
- Staff Enchanter in the basement enchanting/crafting room.

By default the home is clean when you buy it..before upgrading. There are some walls are there that wouldn't be in the Vanilla version due to the changes. Also the home is occupied and maintained by the remaining previous owners & the basement is there but is mostly empty until upgraded.

CONTAINERS:
All the vanilla containers have been retained so any items you may have in them should be safe..they are in the main portion of the home. We only added 1 new container in the Alchemy Room for a key in the main home & a couple linked storage areas denoted with a (*) in the names. The BASEMENT however has a few added physical containers.

There are 5 shortcuts in the basement crafting area. You'll be able to access 2 End Tables, 2 Cupboards & 1 Dresser remotely from the BASEMENT crafting area.

- The 1st is denoted by a Large SoulGem on top of it in the Main Bedroom. (enabled with Enchanter upgrade)
- The 2nd is in the Housecarl's Bedroom and has a Gold Ingot on top of it.
- The 3rd is also in the Housecarl's Bedroom and has a Bound Sword on top of it.
- The 4th is in the hall and has a Helmet on top of it.
- The 5th is a cupboard in the hall next to the Bedroom Doors with a Linen wrap on it. (enabled with Smelter upgrade)

We suggest sorting items that fit the STATIC Items on top of them :-) we did this to save running up & down the stairs to get stuff to craft/enchant with but still keep items safe in Vanilla Containers. OR you may use the "General Stores - Breezehome" mod.

Currently by suggestion we have added through each of the secret doors..

- "Masterful Touch" PERK added to perk tree at Level 55,(see perk tree pictures.)
- Gemstone Purification can be done at the forge to make gems Flawless.

- "Draugr Magic Paralysis" arrows are added to the game and are craftable at the forge under DRAUGR and the Arcane Smithing perk is required.

SPELLS:
There is a Teleport SPELL to return you home with that can be learned with the Spell BOOK on the Lectern upstairs (which is also a bookshelf.)..good even if you're over-encumbered. In addition you may Fast Travel from this home.

KEYS:
There are keys around the home to unlock the secrets. There's also $ to compensate for the cost of the home etc.. if you didn't already have the home, so you aren't out any money if you don't like it :-)

SHRINES:
There are various shrines around the home but not too many. The Blessing of Dibella is applied whenever you sleep in the Master Bed.

SECRET BASEMENT DOORS:
There are 2 secret doors in the basement. Look for the levers to open them throughout the home.

STORAGE CAGE:
This area has some crafting resources in it. It is locked but there is a key in the Orc's room.

EMPTY BASEMENT ROOM:
This room is reserved for Enchanting & Crafting and will be furnished when you get the packages from the steward.

LYDIA:
Lydia has absolutely NO MODIFICATIONS so you may use any Lydia mod you like (ex. Enhanced Lydia on NEXUS.)

ADDED NPC's:
NOTE: FYI..the Dialog Follower Script was edited to remove the hunting bow and iron arrows from followers. I apologize if this is an issue.

Jahne GraBagol - A General Merchant with enough cash to buy everything you can bring her up nearly $30,000. She lives in the Basement and is a Blacksmith by trade and is cousin to Gorza in Markarth. She can buy/sell items 24/7 in the field and offers basic smithing supplies & BYOH supplies. (Her hair color was added to the Orc Race so she could use it)

Vivian the Mage - A Destruction Mage and Master Trainer of the art. She lives in a secret room off the Enchanting Room in the basement. Her purple/blue hair is reflective of her power as a Mage. She fights mainly with Ice Spike (LH) & Fireball (RH)...she's very powerful. (Her hair color was added to the Imperial Race so she could use it)

Becki The Bard - A bard that lives in a room in the Training area. She fights with her voice and stabs foes with a custom wooden flute. (craftable)

BUGS & COMMENTS:
If you find any bugs please leave them in the comment section OR in the Discussion Tread and we'll address them when we can. Suggestions to improve the home are always welcome..even if you don't exactly like the home...don't be afraid to voice why. Be sure to FOLLOW us on FACEBOOK in the link.

ISSUES:
1. As with any modified vanilla player home, I've noticed some chaos with small items like pots, food, mead etc.. They like to fly around a bit and make a mess as they may be in new positions compared to your previous game save. Can't help this one. However most of these types of items are STATIC to avoid the mess. Adding this mod PRIOR TO EVER ENTERING IT is highly recommended.
2. At this time Lydia & Vivian (an a spouse) have been known to cycle through the front door. Though this doesn't happen with everyone, we have we have reconfigured the home a bit and moved their editor locations to help with this issue.
3. ADOPTION: This part of Breezehome has been hit or miss with debugging. Every effort has been made to make the home friendly for up to 4 children using the Multiple Adoption Mod here on NEXUS. If you experience a issue of this type...find it to be related to THIS mod and happen to be a modder, please contact me with the fix so that I may integrate it into the next update. SO NO PROMISES ON THIS PART.

CREDITS:
- We created this mod with assets from APACHII Hair with their permission obtained on the other site but you don't have to have their mod installed for mine to work.
- We've tried not to TARDIS it at all but by Vanilla default the home actually IS bigger inside than out.
- Special thanks to my friends Kathi & Anna for all their bug reporting, testing, ideas & support :-) as well as Darkfox127 (Richard T.) for all is lessons in modding.
- There are admittedly other modders that have done amazing jobs on this home (hats off to them) and we believe everyone has ideas to bring to the table. Stay tuned to our workshop submissions as there are more projects in the works that many will surely like as they are different from what many are used to seeing.

UNINSTALLATION:
Prior to uninstalling this mod remove all items from BASEMENT RACKS & CONTAINERS and put them in containers that aren't in the basement and don't have a * in the name.
