About this mod

Makes Honeycomb and Honey a little more useful, now it cures disease!

Hi everyone!

After being assigned a research paper in English class over an "everyday" topic, I looked around my house to see what I could find and stretch into 5,000 words. I looked through my kitchen, and saw an old (but still good!) jar of honey in my cabinet. My grandma had bought it as a gift on her way through Georgia (not sure where, exactly), and I've kept it because I don't get gifts often.

I decided to write my paper on the history and uses of honey. I didn't realize the history that stems from this stuff, and it's uses are even more. They've found cave paintings in Spain from around 7000 BC that show early Spaniards beekeeping and using honey in foods. A few thousand years (2400 BC) after that they found records of the Egyptians using honey as sweeteners, and you can often find symbols of it in hieroglyphs. They also often used it in medicine, and that's where the idea of this mod came from!

Honey has been known to be an antiseptic (to treat burns) as well as an antibiotic, and I thought it would be pretty neat to implement that into the game. This simple mod makes Honey and Honeycomb both of these things, by changing the ingredient effects of Honeycomb to:

 - Restore Stamina (Default)
 - Resist Fire (Antiseptic) Magnitude 5 for 15 minutes
 - Cure Disease (Antibiotic) Magnitude 7 for no duration
 - Fortify Health (Same reason as Antibiotic, I guess) Magnitude 2 for 2 hours

I changed Honey, the food item, to the effects of:
 - Restore Health (Default)
 - Cure Disease (Antibiotic) Magnitude 5 for no duration
 - Resist Fire (Antiseptic) Magnitude 3 for 15 minutes

I've decided these specifically to make it a little more "lore-friendly" and realistic. Honeycomb is raw, unprocessed, and contains all the good stuff. So the Honeycomb has a higher magnitude on the "Resist Fire" effect, as well as "Cure Disease." Honey is a little more processed, so it loses some values.

If anyone doesn't like these choices, they can file an official complaint application at the Bureau of Industry and Security, sign and date it.
Or you can just not download the mod.

If there are any questions feel free to ask!

Happy Modding!
