We all know selling items is an annoyance, specially once you start to sell lots of alchemy options midgame and worsening later. Is also hard to sell the most expensive items without losing money. I found myself making several roundtrips to nearly every merchant in skyrim just to sell items, triggering several dragon encounters in the process. I Found several mods to alter merchant gold quantities, but none of them keeps the selling game coherent enough.

First of all, there are already two similar mods out there (there are more but these ones are the most popular), but i found several problems with them:

- One of them totally kills the related perks: having 10k from most merchants makes investor and master trader totally useless. Also fences can get up to 50k gold, when a merchant ends up with more than 30k gold, that merchant will be bugged for real. There's a lite version with 2k max, that one al least avoids the overflow bug.

- The other one did modify those perks, but the quantity of the first perk makes the second one a waste, as you can invest in EVERY merchant and EVERY merchant have 3k gold, you can even skip the first one. Also he forgot to modify fences, so you get the vanilla wallets with these guys.

What this mod do:

- All merchants with 400+ gold and their base gold triplicated (from 1200 to 3000 as result)
- The 50 and 100 base gold merchants have their gold multiplied by five (250 and 500)
- Fences start out with 3k gold, and end up with 12k gold with all related quests finished.
- Investor perk now sets the investment at 1500 gold (perk text updated)
- Master trader perk now upgrades every merchant with 3000 extra gold (perk text updated).

What this mod does not do:

- You cannot invest gold on every merchant.

Compatibility:

This is a lightwheight mod, I does not need any supplemental mod to run and can be used with vanilla and/or any DLC as the data modified persist through DLCs. You can ignore load order too. It will only collide with mods that make changes on merchant wallets.

Invest amount outside of new games:

It seems the invest amount is set on the save game as a global variable, so it doesn't change with this mod if you are not starting a new game. There's a few console commands to fix it:
