A sword made of otataral a strange magic-deadening reddish ore from the world of the Malazan Book of the Fallen

Permissions and credits
Well first of all this is my first mod that made it to the nexus so I will appreciate any feedback and suggestions from you.

updating: since the name of the file remained the same all you have to do is just to replace old files with the new ones.

Positive effects
This mod brings the otataral blade from the Malazan Book of the Fallen to your Skyrim game. As in the books otataral has the ability of absorbing and supress any magic close by. So in the game it will absorb 100% of any magic attack against its wielder. Its wielder is protected against spells, dragon shouts and enchanted weapons (unfortunately this probably include also diseases and poisons). When you hit your enemies with it they will lost 1000 point of magicka and their magicka regeneration will be blocked for some time.

Negative effects
Otataral does not affect only hostile spell attacks but also you (or any other NPC wielding the sword). So as long as you have the sword equipped you will lost all of your magicka and your magicka regeneration will be blocked.

Shouting
You can still shout BUT time between the shouts is six-times longer as long as you are using the sword, which makes the shouting possible for the first time but actually useless in the battle. For example after shouting complete Unrelenting Force shout you have to wait for 4 and half minute (almost 2 in-game hours). REMEMBER: times between shouts will return to normal after unequipping the sword but once you shout wielding the sword you will have to wait the longer time (which could mean few in-game hours of waiting)

Staff
Unfortunately i have not figured out how to prevent player or NPC to use staves (or at least limit their effect as i did with the shouts). This mean that using of staff should be same as in the vanilla.  


To get the sword you must find and kill the draugr called Lorn. Lorn is located near the altar with skeletons and dead conjurers (see images for the location) Lorn is two-times stronger than you (with her minimum level 20) and cannot be harmed by magic or shouts.

Although I tried to make the sword balanced it still could be quite OP for player who does not use magic at all. I also wanted sword with decent damage so it could be used on higher levels too so it has the same damage as daedric sword (but could not be improved in order to keep it balanced). I suggest you not to use this mod (sword) below level 20 or so.

There are not any scripts in the mod and there should not be any problems with the mod but just for sure keep a backup of your save before activating the mod.
