Black Toe Meadhall is a player home designed by Galandil and scripted by Matthiaswagg. It is a home with a variety of upgrades, and several new characters and a quest - both of which are fully voice acted. The home itself can be found in the mountains near Windhelm (see the screenshots), and can be fast traveled to and from. It's located within a valley, custom-made for this mod. It is enterable through an ice cave leading out to the Windhelm area. It's a medium-large home with a main hall and an addable basement which includes a variety of rooms that can be repurposed as you wish (see Features).
BTMH is a more "gritty" and realistic home. There's plenty of features for you, but it's not meant to be a beautiful, ethereal home in the clouds or anything like that. It's a real meadhall out in the mountains, and while cozy, you won't be finding much in the way of fancy castles up there.
BTMH was originally created as a submission for the (#1) Build a Home r/skyrimmods Reddit contest.

Once you've gone through the fully-voice acted quest, you'll be able to speak to the steward, Lucretius, to purchase upgrades for your home. In the beginning, the meadhall is a bit undecorated and bare, as is the valley. Several "meadhallers" reside there with you, and are happy to join you on your adventures. Accessible through a dialogue menu with Lucretius, the upgrades are divided into three sections.
There are many more, smaller, features not listed here that I will let you discover yourself.

Mod Manager Installation
- Click Download with Manager button
- Activate the mod in your manager

- Deactivate the mod in your mod manager
Manual Installation
- Download the mod manually
- Extract the contents of the archive to your Skyrim/Data folder
- Check the .esp (BTMeadhall.esp) when you load Skyrim

- Uncheck the .esp (BTMeadhall.esp) in your Skyrim loader
There should be no compatibility issues as there area the cave is in is pretty isolated, and most of the player home is inside. Unless there is a mod that adds something to that area, there should be no issues.
There are currently 4 missing voice files, because they were not given in time by the VAs for the contest submission. These will be fixed in the next update, when I get a chance and once the voting for the contest is complete. These voice files would usually be in the Dunmer Father-Daughter reunion scene, and instead there are blank sound files here. 1 missing voice file is that of the Orc chieftain. A blank file is here as well. These will work fine with no extra changes by the user.
