Craft wooden people, not summoned creatures but actual npcs you can buy from, sell to, have follow you, or even marry. When they die you can just make more. You can even play as one! All you need to start can be found in the cellar of Anise's Cabin south of Bleakfalls Barrow. The Crafted NPC's will appear under Scrolls in your inventory, and are used like a summoning spell.
This is the long awaited continuation of my Craftable Followers mod. It includes 18 craftable people of all types as well as a playable race. Have all the residents of your favorite town been killed by dragons, no problem, repopulate it with these wooden people! Is your inventory full, just put down a follower to carry your stuff, or a merchant to sell it to. Want guards who won't care if you steal and murder, fine kill the old ones and craft some new ones. Tired of running errands to win the affections of some guy or gal, you can craft one who will want to marry you on the spot.

Notes:
-The ability to craft people is gained by reading a book in the cellar of Anise's Cabin, and is already possessed by the new playable Manakin race.
-Deadwood is a leftover from the previous version of this mod, there is no longer a way to obtain it, but it is still supported for those who still have it in previous saves.
-The trainer cannot train at present, but does sell all of the skill books.
-All manakins in the world will take on the new texture and mesh of the playable race. I personally prefer this.
-The playable race can have human eyes, it's creepy, but entirely up to you.
-You can craft more than one follower of the same type at a time, but only one will follow you.
-Followers do not share inventories, your stuff is with the one you gave it to.
-Merchants do share inventories.
-Follower has an equal resistance to damage and weakness to fire (made of wood)
-Follower is immune to poison and disease, and does not need to breath.
-There is a report of a conflict between the playable race and the Immerssive Combat mod
