The Talismans of Shendu from the Jackie Chan Adventures world have made their way to Skyrim.
Scattered to the land's four corners, find a detailed journal to help you locate these powerful artefacts and use their powers however you see fit.

The Twelve Talismans of Shendu
Shendu, a demon sorcerer from a faraway land, created twelve magical talismans representing the animals from the Chinese Zodiac. When Shendu used his powers to try and conquer the land, a powerful mage named Lo Pei stood up to this fierce demon using an ancient elder scroll to seal the him in stone and place his powers into the twelve talismans.

Now those same twelve talismans are drawing close to each other, centred in the land of Skyrim, where the population have already discovered some of the powerful pieces. A journal detailing their movements has been left behind in an inn in a small village called Riverwood, will you follow the clues, collect the twelve talismans and use their powers for good... or for evil...

The Talismans

The Rat Talisman
The power to bring Motion to the Motionless who have departed this world back to their full strength.
Any NPC that has met an untimely fate will be brought back to life exactly how they were (provided there's a body to work with).

The Ox Talisman
The power of Strength, allows to user to strike much harder and carry much more.
Allows the carry an additional 500 pounds and you deal 5x more damage.

The Tiger Talisman
The power of Balance, allows the separation of your yin and yang.
Creates a clone of the user to use as a companion. They will act like a normal companion and are able to hold all your things. If they die or it is time to de-summon them, all their items are transferred back to you with no risk of losing any. So long as you live, your other half can be reborn by using the spell again should they perish. 

The Rabbit Talisman
The power of Speed, move and attack much faster.
Run and swing a sword at 3x speed or draw your bow at 4x speed.

The Dragon Talisman
The power of Combustion said to rival that of a dragon's blast.
Gives a powerful fireblast spell doing 200pts of damage. Lethal at low levels.

The Snake Talisman
The power of complete Invisibility.
Toggle-able invisibility and muffle that remains after picking something up or using a spell. Should last until casting the spell or dropping the talisman though it is tricksy.

The Horse Talisman
The power of Healing, restore the full strength back to yourself and anyone you deem needs it.
Can fully heal you and/or others of all poisons, diseases, stamina and health issues.

The Sheep Talisman
The power of Astral Projection, phase into another world unseen by the populous.
Allows your spirit to walk free in the world, invisible, silent and unable to pick up any items, access your physical inventory or activate levers as you have no physical body in this form. Great for scouting ahead in dungeons. When you deactivate the spell, your soul will snap back to where your physical body once stood.
(Contains a 'Return' spell should you enter an area that locks behind you, allowing you to warp back and prevent game breaking bugs)

The Monkey Talisman
The power of Shapeshifting, turn enemies into one of many animal forms for a short time.
Using the choice spell, you are able to change an enemy into over twenty different animals and beings that inhabit the world of skyrim for a short time. They will change back when they are struck or a short time passes (to prevent permanent NPC loss).

The Rooster Talisman
The power of Telekinesis.
Pick up both people and objects from afar and draw them close or fling them away.


The Dog Talisman
The power of Immortality, prevents death by any means.
Jumping from towers, munched on by trolls or served up to Alduin himself, you cannot die though you will suffer the pain of defeat until you find your second wind.

The Pig Talisman
The power of Heat-Beam Hand Blasts, speaks for itself.
Gives the user a spell to do 50 points of damage a second per hand to things they find blocking their line of sight.


Shendu
A dark shadow lingers on the horizon. Deep in the heart of Markarth, an ancient stone statue awakens.
The statue of the ancient demon sorcerer has been unearthed in a cave and eagerly awaits your arrival to place the talismans back into his possession.


Future
The section assemble, their goal; to prevent the resurrection of the demon of legend...
Both fight for control of the talismans, which one will gain their powers with your help?

Known Issues
There are couple of known issues associated with the code in this mod.
  • Due to the larger scripting of some of these talismans, the code may not recognise that its worked right away. After casting a spell, please wait a few moments if it hasn't quite worked before attempting to use it again.
  • The Monkey Shapeshifting spell, based off the wabbajack spell, will not work on hold guards but it will create a new creature next to them which will dispel like the same thing, useful for distractions. 
  • Snake's invisibility spell can sometimes dispel by itself and leave the player completely see through. Simply use the spell a couple of times to return to full visibility. This may likely occur when using the snake and sheep talisman at the same time.
  • Tiger's Balance spell may take a while to activate due to high scripting. Creates a duplicate of the player's base and has a couple of issues associated with this such as alt tabbing out and back into the game.

v1.1 - Fixed a couple of bugs, moved the horse talisman, added Shendu and his lair, begun work on the trackable quest.
