About this mod
Some items are just too complicated or strange to disenchant, but that doesn't mean you can't learn from them. As an enchanting scholar, you may use a modified enchanting table in the ruined city of Winterhold to create enchantments based on unique items. You may even be able to combine some of them to create previously unheard of enchantme

A newly updated and refurbished mod that has absolutely nothing to do with alchemy!!!
Enchanting Scholar
Which is to say that you can be a scholar of enchanting, not a scholar who is enchanting.

This mod is a work in progress. That being said, updates will be very infrequent until I finish my degree.
I chose to publish now because the features within are useful, if not as well fleshed out as I'd like them to be.
Most of what remains is adding new items to the library, creating all the enchantments that come from those items, then
creating all the enchantments that can be made by combining those with the enchantments from other items in the library.
This mod is aimed more for a new campaign. Higher level character may have easier access to subjects for study,
but they also benefit considerably less, for now. I tend to develop mods organically as I play, at least until I go off on a
tangent of creation.

The world of Tamriel is full of unique and interesting magical artifacts that you just can't wrap your head around. That just doesn't sit well with me, nor does it make sense for some puny-minded mortal to disenchant deadric artifacts and ancient lost wonders, as some mods would have you do. My solution is to study. Why must you destroy something to learn about its magical properties? Why can't you just poke and prod at it with magical tools, slowly sussing out the details of how it functions? Well I think you can.
Be an enchanting scholar!
Go to the ruined city of Winterhold and find the destroyed home of the ill fated Enchanter, whose modified tables you will use to divine the power held within unique items.
Discover new interesting or sometimes vaguely useless enchantments.
Utilize the hidden powers within the artifacts of Azura and Hermaeus Mora to improve upon your skills as an enchanter.
You may even find easier paths to some normal enchantments.

***************************************************************************
-The middle table is a normal enchanting table.
-The right table has been modified to aid in the creation of simple enchanted items from studied artifacts.
-The left table has been poorly modifed for the same purpose as the right. (It is currently useless.)
-Azura's Star(or The black Star) and The Oghma Infinium grant the user an improved understanding of enchanting.
(They unlock some of the stronger enchantments. The Stars must be empty.)
-Azura's Star(or The Black Star) now gives a 10% charge bonus on new enchantments.
(It must be in your inventory and empty to give the bonus.)
-The Oghma Infinium now gives a 10% charge bonus and a 5% power bonus on new enchantments.
(It must be in your inventory)
-The Black Books of Hermaeus Mora grant a bonus to charge and power on new enchantments.
This bonus increases with every new book you hold.
1. 2% Charge - 1% Power
2. 4% Charge - 2% Power
3. 6% Charge - 3% Power
4. 10% Charge - 5% Power
5. 12% Charge - 6% Power
6. 16% Charge - 8% Power
7. 20% Charge - 10% Power
(They must be in your inventory!)
New enchantments are crafted on simple items: tines(modeled after prison shivs) for weapon enchantments and terrible rings for equipment enchantments.
Both tines and terrible rings can be made from iron ingots. Each ingot yields three rings or tines.
All experimental enchantment recipes use petty souls(not empty petty soul stones).
The enchantments on the terrible rings will be weaker than the enchantment you will get from disenchanting them.
(I had to do this for balancing purposes. Some of these enchantments should not be full strength on rings.)
To create enchantments from unique items, you must have them in your inventory.
Many enchantments require multiple items and/or the benefit of Azura's star and/or the Oghma Infinium.
(This tends to be the case with enchantments made from combining the effects of multiple sources.)

Updates
******************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************
1.2 - Overhaul - Several things work differently. I do not suggest overwriting an old version. Things will be missing. They will have been implemented
in better ways.
New things - Things are new! I'm not very good at update logs. There are new things though.
