What is this mod?

This makes some small changes to Jorrvaskr and its basement to turn it into a functional player home.

What are some of the features?

  • Adds a kitchen! Finally there's an explanation for where the food comes from!
  • Mead barrels drinking area! It's a bit messy, and no fire spells please.
  • Removes all silver plates/cutlery! Because why was a werewolf drinking from a silver goblet?
  • Finally hang Wuuthrad and the Shield of Ysgramor!
  • Tilma the Haggard finally has a bed!
  • Ria, Athis, Torvar, and Njada have some belongings around their beds.
  • Renovated Harbinger's study and bedroom. Comes with plenty of bookcases, weapon displays, mannequins, and a giant fireplace.

Why does this exist?

One of my characters is a dedicated companion, and thus lives in the hall with the others. But vanilla Skyrim isn't setup as a decent player home. I've used most of the Jorrvaskr mods, and while they were all great in different ways, I wanted to make some small changes to them. So I started to learn the creation kit to make small changes, which turned into larger changes, which then I scrapped and made into a (hopefully) nice clean mod. So this is basically my first real mod.

What important info do I need to know?

For a technical standpoint, all you need is vanilla Skyrim with all its updates. It's best used after the completion of the companion's quests. I haven't tested it playing through the quest, but in theory it should be fine. I hardly touched any quest markers, except for moving the harbinger's room's things.

Should be fine with other mods. I didn't edit any npcs, except added a sleep and eat ai package to Tilma. Didn't touch anything outside of Jorrvaskr, so it's very compatible with any Whiterun overhauls.
As for other info, as said above, this is my first mod. There's lots I don't know. I tried to be super careful, but you should probably be a bit cautious, as you should with any mod. Back-up saves and whatnot.
