What is this mod?
This mod adds several invisible equippable items, one for each equipment slot. My original goal was to make it possible to unequip the items from desired slots when switching between hotkeyed outfit sets. It's probably best to demonstrate it wih an example:
  • Outfit1 has clothes for feet, body, hands, head and a cape in slot#50.
  • Outfit2 has clothes for feet, body, hands, head but no cape.
  • Now trying to switch from Outfit1 to Outfit2 will leave the cape on. This can be avoided by adding "Empty Slot 50" to the item list of Outfit2. This way when switching to Outfit2, the invisible "Empty Slot 50" gets equipped, taking the place of the cape.
The "Empty Slot" items have no weight/value/stats/enchantments, so they make it look as if nothing was equipped.

There are also a few ones that are a bit more special than the others. The "Empty Slot"-s for the body (#32), hands (#33) and feet (#37) show the appropriate naked model for your character. It is possible that when equipping "Empty Slot 32 - Body" your character will have gaps at the calves and forearms. If this happens please use "Empty Slot 32, 34, 38 - Body, Forearms, Calves" instead. "Empty Slot 40 - Tail" removes your tail if you have one, "Empty Slot 30 - Head" removes your head and "Empty Slot 31 - Hair" makes you bald. I find these last two a bit inconvenient, I might make versions of them that have some kind of "automatically unequip after being equipped" script on them. We'll see.

Hold on I still don't know what a slot is
Slots are.. well... slots where you equip items. Different item types use different slots and you can only have one item in one slot. Body items go to slot#32, hand items go to slot#33 and so on. The usable slots for equipment range from 30 to 61. I think slots from 44 to 60 are unused in the vanilla game, so many modders use them for special items like lanterns, capes, earrings and whatnot. Now that we cleared this up the first paragraph should make more sense if you're new to this.

How do I get these items?
Right now the only way to get them is by using the console. There is a short tutorial in one of the images if you don't know what to do. There is also a container with all the items that you can place from the console (player.placeatme XX001304), but you'll have to remove it manually (select, then MarkForDelete). If you know of a better way that doesn't involve cluttering the crafting menu/editing cells/dumping everything in the player's inventory I'd be glad to listen.

FAQ
-How do I get a "slot" column in my inventory like in the picture?
-It's a mod from "an other site". Google "skyui show armor slots" to find it.

-Can I upload your mod to other sites and claim that I was the one who made it?
-Sure, although I'd appreciate being given credit.

-Why is the inventory/world item a quill?
-I couldn't really think of anything else, if you have a better idea that wouldn't require custom meshes, please tell me.
