This mod is not claiming to be enhancing or creating somehow making dungeons look realistic, since the game is in a fantasy settings to begin with and there is absolutely nothing realistic about it. This mod is not trying to be better than the vanilla or any other similar mod.

What it does is, it replaces (not all) vanilla textures associated with dungeon and cave walls, creating a different athmosphere. Darker, less colorful unique on its own.   This is a small retexture mod. It modifes the textures for the Nordic Dungeons, Caves and the textures of rocks and mountains.

Only the "Nordic" dungeons (crypts, barrows, burials) and the green caves are being edited, not the fort ruins!  There will be updates to this mod, possibly including other interior ruins or change of textures.

The mod is not compatible with parallax mods.  If you have parallax enabled in your ENB or parallax mod installed, your game will crash or things going to look very odd.

It will work with any ENB  settings and plain vanilla Skyrim too.

Requirements:
  • Skryim  (no DLCs needed)
  • A videocard, preferably with at least 2GB of VideoRam  (
    • The texture files are large. They are at least twice the size of the original vanilla they are replacing.

Upon installation, this mod will overrrite any texture files associated with Nordic dungeon and cave floors, walls, ceilings as well as the rocks and mountain textures.

Installation:

Using the Mod Manager is highly recommended for those with plenty of mods already in use. Otherwise, unzip the file, drop the Data folder into your Skyrim directory.
