Goal

Ever felt some specific items categories are too cheap or too expensive? This mod allows you to dynamically reprice certain item categories. For now, this is limited to spell tomes, as that category was most pressing for myself. More items might be added later!

Mechanics

The mod saves the base gold value of spell tome forms, and then allows the player to apply a repricing factor. After mod initialization, the repricing can be done at any time from the MCM menu.

Installation, maintenance and removal

The following other mods are required:

• SkyUI
• Skyrim Script Extender (SKSE) v1.7.2 (beta)
  

Install using any method, making sure all the files in the archive end up in the Data directory and their respective subdirectories. Installing a new version should be seamless by overwriting the old files. All repricing effects will be gone once you have removed the mod from your load order.

After installation, to start the mod it is required to go into the MCM and click the "Request initialization" toggle. You will be asked to perform various actions, such as restarting Skyrim and saving/loading the game twice. This is a necessary process you need to perform only once for each save, unless at a later time you install or remove mods that include spell tomes.

Compatibility

No records from Skyrim.esm or other base ESM's are modified, only new stuff is added.

For spell tomes to be found they need to be on one of the following levelled lists, or one of their sublists:

• LItemSpellTomes00MixedSkills
• LItemSpellTomes25MixedSkills
• LItemSpellTomes50MixedSkills
• LItemSpellTomes75MixedSkills
• LItemSpellTomes100MixedSkills
  

All vanilla and most mod-added spell tomes should be on those lists by default.
