RUSTIC POTTERY
is a hi-res and lore-friendly retexture of Skyrim's pottery. The original color scheme was preserved for the most part. The pots, plates, and cups have the greens and golds of the Whiterun interiors, and the larger flowerpots and urns have the blue hues of Solitude and the Blue Palace, where those items are prominently featured.

As with my RUSTIC SILVERWARE mod, I envisioned the pottery patterns of ancient Nordic design, since fine ceramics tend to be preserved and passed on through the generations. Because of their age, the pottery would exhibit cracks and crazing to the glaze. I wanted to create the equivalent of Ming dynasty ware for the Nords. The animalistic scroll designs blend well with the RUSTIC SILVERWARE patterns, as these items are normally displayed together in the game.

UPDATE 2.0: I got requests for doing the Dwemer pottery as well, and upon examination, I found the vanilla texture to be low-res and uninteresting. A facelift was indeed needed. I gave the metal portion of the pottery a distinctive Dwemer raised design to give it more dimension and interest. The pottery itself is ancient, so I tried to give it the appearance of pottery that you'd find at an excavation site. It's matte in appearance, with fine cracks and mineral colors on the surface.

I created textures in both 2K and 1K versions, so download whichever version suits your setup. I hope people enjoy this little addition to Skyrim's decor.

Cheers,
Gamwich
