INTRODUCTION TO SKYDRONE (STORY)
Skydrone is believed to have been created out of a huge underwater volcano that erupted a great
many years ago and formed this mysterious land. The inhabitants of this land refer to themselves
as Skydronians. Skydronians have very little knowledge of their homeland's past. Most
believe that this is directly related to "The Cube". The Cube is described to be neither an
object or a being in any shape or form. Many races simply tell the story that this is
an unseen force that is capable of destroying or creating anything it desires.
It is rumored that "The Cube" was responsible for the last "Great Flood" that happened in the past,
which wiped out most of the life on Skydrone land. According to the very few and rare
history books that have survived in Skydrone today, this incredible unseen force became
very unbalanced, due to the evil power taking over everything that was good in its nature.
It started when many races became corrupted and started worshiping evil and dead things.
They also performed many ritualistic sacrifices, waged wars against each other,
experimented on plants and animals including each other, lusted and killed over material possessions
and turned to their many other evil ways. "The Cube" started to lose its balance and soon turned,
sending down a giant "Light Beam" that was visible all across the Skydronian sky at that dark time.
This giant "Light Beam" is also a mystery, and no one in Skydrone knows what it really refers to.
Many simply believe that this giant "Light Beam" is related to the "Great Flood".
Other history records that survived in Skydrone today, mention only partially
that a massive loud and eerie sound noise was heard all across the land,
just days before the "Great Flood" came and swept through the land.
Before the "Great Flood" happened, many races witnessed most of the animal life run away,
further towards inland and higher ground.
Only a few decided that they should leave and head for the higher mountain regions,
but almost everyone else decided to ignore the signs of danger and stayed behind in the
lower regions of the Skydrone land. The "Great Flood" arrived in its vile and enormous size,
flooding all of the land except for a few high mountain regions, erasing most of the life out.
One of the few records that describes the last "Great Flood" involves other strange events prior
to the flood. The book was missing a front cover, so it cannot be named, but speaks of dead coming
back to life and attacking anything that's living, like a true plague. The author's name
is also missing, including most pages, but it clearly shows that this person survived the horror
to tell the tale. A few sentences from this book that survived read; ...and I have done it,
I escaped the flood by climbing up this mountain, however all others that stayed back
have been swept away like ants and are now gone. The water level is still climbing from last
night, and I have no more food supplies. I wonder if anyone else escaped? I know
that there are others living on these mountains, but how and where will I find them?
My only hope is that they are not bandits or necromancers. "The Cube" was
swift with its turning and we ended up paying the price for our ignorance. We should have all
realized that our doom was at the door, with so many dead rising out of the ground and creatures
hunting the living. I am glad that they have been dealt with, and hope they never return to life.
Am I really seeing all this? How tragic for so many to perish in such a cold and gruesome way.
And now it is up to those of us who have survived the "Great Flood" to write down about
this tragic event that ended and wiped out most of the life here. I will continue climbing
up this path to try and reach the higher mountain region.
I must live on and write about this horrific extinction event that took place here.
When or if the water levels fall again, remember the words that I have written here as a "Warning"
to all future generations, for "I Claim this to be a True Event" that I have survived
and not some legend or a tale."
By reading ancient records like these, one can say that Skydrone has had some quite tragic history.
As of now, Skydrone is populated by a few races once again and many of its inhabitants feel that
evil has returned to surface once more. Vampires, witches, bandits, necromancers and other
creatures plague this land like a never ending nightmare. Skydrone has become a perfect place
for bad things to happen, including violence, mysterious disappearances, cannibalism, murder,
shipwrecks, and other evil nightmares. Different races in this land are trying to fight
this evil any way they can, whether by using force or wits, or mostly they are doing it by
working, living and fighting together. Many also feel that the land is in a dire need of a true hero.
There is a good side to this mysterious land as well, which is that many who live in Skydrone
today are helpful and decent folk in nature, and their land features some outlandish,
astonishing and unique locations.

NOTE
Skydrone is a large new land mod, that contains many things.
I am currently working on expanding this mod.
Backup your originial save/s before installing and playing Skydrone.
This mod is not complete, and it is still being developed and updated.

COMPATIBILITY
Skydrone takes place outside of Skyrim, like a whole new land or DLC if you will.
This mod will not interfere with Skyrim or any of the official DLCs.

NAVMESH, FOLLOWERS & SPELLS
Navmesh has been placed through some interiors in Skydrone, and same goes for the
exterior land. Mostly where a town, dungeon, cave or village locations are,
they should have some navmesh in and around them, some locations but not all.
You can still bring your followers to Skydrone, it just means that they are not
able to follow you everywhere. More navmesh is still being added to Skydrone places.
No invisible borders are placed anywhere around Skydrone, and this also means that you are
likely to run into empty areas of the land when exploring it, where navmesh has not been placed
and your followers cannot follow you.
(Conjuring/Summon Spells will likely not work at locations where navmesh has not been added yet.)

TROUBLESHOOTING
1. Update all your mods when new mod versions become available
2. Update your graphics card driver to the latest version
3. If using a mod manager to activate Skydrone.esm, make sure that Skydrone.esm is placed anywhere

(This is located inside your mod manager under "Plugins Tab")
4. Use the free "BOSS" Tool to sort out your mods in their respectful order
5. If you are playing on a very low-end laptop you might consider any of the following
options below to try and prevent game crashes or lag:
A: Tweak your PC for a better performance
B: Adjust settings in your "Skyrim.ini" and "SkyrimPrefs.ini", NOTE: again only if you know
what it is you are changing there
C: There are many other tweaks, fixes and mods for the Skyrim game posted on Skyrim Nexus,
you just need to look for them (you can also try google research and Youtube)
D: Add more RAM to your PC (minimum 8GB of RAM recommended)
E: Allow/Add more virtual RAM on your PC under Computer/Advanced/Performance settings
