About this mod

Re-arranges all weapons to better positions. Based on XPMS skeleton and made with HDT support in mind.

Since very moment I've installed XMPS skeleton I wasn't happy at all with weapons positions it gives, but as many people was forced to use it, as it extends vanilla skeleton in many ways and vital for various mods. So I decided to adjust almost every weapon position to my taste. When I started to use Equipping Overhaul I decided to re-adjust everything from scratch to make possible to have all weapons equipped at once without having ugly clipping issues. This mod is result of all this work extended to all 4 skeletons (both gender, humans and non-humans races). It was made to work along with HDT Equipment, but will work without it just fine.

Weapon positions this mod gives (default means no drastic relocation, but still adjusted):
1H sword - default
2H weapons - default
1H axe - default
mace - default
dagger - waist/belly
bow - on back over the body
crossbow - on back under the arm
arrow quivers - reversed on back above 2H weapon (on same place as 2H weapons in case of Opt. version)
bolt quivers - waist/back

Known Issues:
1. Bolts are missing on crossbow. Already made a fix, but this fix gives weird psychics of bolts quiver due to HDT behavior with anything attached to QUIVER bone. So still working on it.
2. When crossbow equipped all weapons adjustment screwed up. This is not my issue, it's vanilla game problem. Looking into it.

Requirements:
XP32 Maximum Skeleton -XPMS - required
Fores New Idles in Skyrim - FNIS - required, if you use extended version of XPMS
Realistic Ragdolls and Force - required, if you use extended version of XPMS
Optional, but strongly recommended:
Equipping Overhaul (v.3.13)
HDT Physics Extensions
HDT Equipment v.0.2a (Craftable Weapon Sling)
Skyrim - Enhanced Camera

Installation for base version of XPMS 1.93a (every step assumes download and install):
1. XP32 Maximum Skeleton -XPMS (XPMS 1-93a NMM-BAIN INSTALLER)
2. Main or Opt version of this mod (overwriting all 4 files it asks)
optional steps:
3. Fores New Idles in Skyrim - FNIS
4. Realistic Ragdolls and Force
5. Equipping Overhaul
6. HDT Physics Extensions
7. HDT Equipment
If you don't want to use FNIS for any reason, then at 1st step you must check NoFNIS patch. If you do plan to use it, make sure you don't check it.
After FNIS installation you MUST generate behavior files with "SKELETON Arm Fix" checked. Make sure to do this or you'll have animation problem.

Installation for extended version of XPMS 2.06 (every step assumes download and install):
1. XP32 Maximum Skeleton -XPMS (Groovtama's XPMS Extended)
2. Main or Opt version of this mod (overwriting all 4 files it asks)
3. Fores New Idles in Skyrim - FNIS
4. Realistic Ragdolls and Force
optional steps:
5. Equipping Overhaul
6. HDT Physics Extensions
7. HDT Equipment

If you already have any of listed mods installed, you skip this step.

If you gonna use HDT Equipment, you need to craft default weapon sling on tanning rack and equip it to have physics effects.
Don't try to use anything but default weapon sling, means nothing in () after sling name. In other case you'll get a total mess with you equipment.

Dual sheath or any other weapon positions (like dagger/sword on back or belt quivers and etc.) are not supported.
1H sword(s) and shield on back for dual sheath support planned in future versions, but until I will figure how to edit HDT config files to add this to default weapon sling or prevent DSR version from screwing up all weapons positions, there will be no support of this. There will be no dagger on back or belt fastened quivers version though as it looks silly in my opinion. I also might add version with dagger(s) on thigh if someone interested in such position.

Please give your feedback. As it's impossible to adjust weapon bones to every weapon and every armor in game, there still might be some clipping issues with different weapon and different armor types. If you do have serious clipping, post your screenshot and I'll see what can be done to resolve this.

If you like and use both HDT Equipment and Frostfall backpacks, then you might like my other mod Frostfall - Camping Equipments Patch. For now it adds HDT support for backpacks and there will be more very soon. Use Optional version of this mod along with it. It gives closer quiver position and will have less clipping with backpack, but will add clipping with great sword. But if you don't use one, this should not be a problem for you.
