Description
Last updated at 9:37, 23 Sep 2014 Uploaded at 21:20, 23 Aug 2014
THIS PAGE HAS BEEN RE-UPLOADED DUE TO THE ORIGINAL BEING MESSED UP BY THE NEXUS ON ONE OF IT'S FAULTY DAYS AND HAVING TO BE COMPLETELY DELETED.
This mod retextures the clouds in the skies, mountain clouds, horizon clouds and gives a far distant horizon to Skyrim.
I have used and redone some of the vanilla textures because I couldn't find any suitable images to change them completely.
They have been made to appear more fluffy with a hint of colour than vanilla and I have also added a far off distant cloud effect to fill in the blank gap seen on the horizon.
These clouds are not meant to look completely Earth like realistic because I wanted to express a more fantasy appearance to them and still try to make them fit naturally and not out of place in the Skyrim landscape, so they may not be to everyone's taste.
There are a few great looking realistic clouds mods now on the Nexus, if you prefer realism and I would fully recommend the brilliant Ethereal Clouds by Gamwich.
Available in x256, x512, x1024 and x2048 sized textures.
COMPATIBILITY:
This will not be compatible with other mods that change these textures.
These textures are made purely for the vanilla game and have not been tested with a ENB or weather mods. So I can not say whether they will work or look right when used with a ENB or weather mod. If unsure try them and see for yourself, just delete textures if not compatible. Remember to always backup your texture folder, should you need to revert back or better still use Mod Organizer.
UPDATE HISTORY:
version 1.0: initial release.
version 2.4: Updated all textures to a completely different look to version 1.0. Added a hint of colour to clouds and refined all the alphas.
version 3.0: Updated all textures to be more colourful and less bland in appearance. Renewed a lot of v2.4 to use completely different textures.
MY OTHER MODS:
ATMOSPHERE
RAIN
AURORA
STARS
SNOW
LEAVES
DANDELION SEEDS
DUST
