The Poacher's Axe is a unique wood chopping axe, one of only 2 axes that can chop wood, the other being the standard Woodcutter Axe. I have have replaced it with the Ebony War Axe texture, and changed it's name to Heart of the Forest but it still retains it's ability to chop wood, but has the stats and damage of the Ebony War Axe.
This does NOT change the wood chopping animations or the regular Woodcutter Axe texture.
I often play as a Lumber Jack or a Hunter survival woodsy type character who does NOT go hunting in dungeons or go on quests most of the time, so he does not often find or win Unique Weapons.
I play with Requiem and other mods that reduce carry weight and limits the amount of weapons I can carry I often have to choose carefully, most of the time I carry only a Woodcutter Axe, A Bow and Quiver and a Hunting Knife. So I made this for so when I did run into trouble I have a fighting chance.
The Heart of the Forest can be found in the Halted Stream Camp
(same place as the original Poacher's Axe)
