About this mod

Six separate mods that modify combat. Each mod adds one feature: dodging, timed blocking, fast resting, ward reflecting and two versions of spell unequipping.

DodgeBack:

Requirements: Skyrim 1.9, SKSE, SkyUI (for MCM)

Description: allows to player to perform a backwards dodge animation by pressing a configurable key. To dodge, the player needs to have his weapons out and be moving backwards. During the first 0.4 seconds of the dodge animation the player is invulnerable. This is necessary to compensate for the unnaturally long reach of Skyrim's weapons. Dodging in light/heavy armor is possible but has skill requirements. Once those are met, dodging in armor increases the appropiate armor skill.

Enhanced Wards:

Requirements: Skyrim 1.9, SKSE 1.7.1

Description: gives wards two new abilities: ward burst and ward reflect. Ward burst allows the ward to trigger a shockwave that staggers human-sized opponents in a short range; visually, it looks like FUS. To perform a ward burst you need to: 1) block a concentration spell (like flames), 2) wait until you see a subtle blue tint covering your screen (visual cue that the ward is ready), 3) stop casting the ward. Ward reflect allows the ward to create a copy of any projectile spell (like firebolt) that the ward managed to block without breaking...and then send that copy to wherever your crosshair is pointing. No perk requirements to use those abilities. Opponents who use wards can use them as well.

Fast resting:

Requirements: Skyrim 1.9

Description: When the player is in combat and neither moving nor attacking nor blocking his stamina regenerates as fast as if he was out of combat.

Timed Block:

Requirements: Skyrim 1.9, SKSE

Description: Block right before getting hit to substantially mitigate received damage. Time window is 0.5 seconds.

Intelligent Spell Unequipping

Requirements: Skyrim 1.9, SKSE 1.7.1

Description: 'Fire and forget' spells that are casted on self (flesh spells, cloak spells...) or on a surface (summons, runes...) are automatically unequipped after being casted IF the left hand was used to cast them. This means your left hand is freed, and if you have a weapon in your other hand you can start blocking with it as soon as you finish casting. Good for spellswords. Only the player is affected.

Left Hand Spell Unequip 

Requirements: Skyrim 1.9, SKSE, SkyUI

Description: Allows to player to unequip whatever spell he has in his left hand by pressing a configurable key. Default is 'Esc', use MCM to remap it. 
Works with any spell, vanilla or from mods. If you unequip a spell that is in your favourites menu, the spell will NOT be removed from the favourites menu.

Drop that .esp file(s) and script folder(s) inside your data folder. Or use a mod manager; mods are packaged to be mod manager-friendly.
