About this mod
A fine tuned, remixed, high detail, re-texture of the clothing in Skyrim. Consideration was given to textile patterns, texture quality and dirt and \"quality\". Low memory footprint, high visual improvement, minimal performance loss. In some cases, performance gain!

What is it?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A fine tuned, remixed, high detail, re-texture of the clothing in Skyrim.
Consideration was given to textile patterns, texture quality and
dirt and "quality".
Ex:
Beggars clothes are made out of cheap burlap and are dirty-fied.
One of the farmer's jacket is made out of patched leather scraps.
Middle class clothes use medium grade wool and cloth.
Fine clothes use fine patterned textures and brighter colors.

Why did you do this? There are a few texture packs as is!

Yes, there are. But I have a few reasons:
1. While some are very nice, they are too crisp or incredibly distracting.
[Too clean, blending errors, etc...]
[I don't like my farmers looking like they have a freshly pressed outfit.]
2. A FEW of them are just:
Open Photoshop > Increase Resolution > Sharpen > Filter > Filter >
Filter > Adjust Contrast > "TADA HD!"
What has or hasn't been done and will you do it?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Completed: At this point, pretty much everything.
Not Done: Yarl set, few things.
Yes, I will update the sets as I have time.
[School, work, family and my own time are pretty demanding.]
What kind of performance hit should I see with this?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have seen ZERO FPS loss if you use the "old" Bethesda textures.
I have seen UP TO 5fps INCREASE compared to the "new" HD textures.
[The more "famous" package here is 3x bigger and uses 6x the memory footprint.]
Will you do a 2k+ Version?

No, here's why:
1. High resolution does not mean high definition.
2. I wanted to make a mod most people could use.
3. I wanted the mod to be "immersive" not overpowering.
4. When I play the game I don't spend all my time zoomed in staring at the NPCs
for half an hour counting the strands and fibers.
5.There are too many "packages" as is, 2k version would double that. [Oh god...]
6.The purpose of this package is to increase OVERALL game experience.
[This game has enough memory leaks as is. **Purple textures**]
7.I don't like to blow things up [or shrink them], sharpen them and call it a day.
"Decent" work takes time, I do not have enough time to start this all over again
from scratch AND work on several versions of the same mod, sorry. :(
Why don't you include Normal Maps?

Because the goal is to improve texture quality without increased memory footprint,
load times and the textures are so close to the original that a new set of normal
maps would be redundant.
Normal maps "fake" visual effects such as bumps and dents.
