Seeing the state of things, and the lack of resources for information here, he chose to do something about that. Rumors are that he was starting up a college, where people would be able to learn a variety of things.
He opened an inn, and was going to start the college up from that point, a reasonable thing. He has gone quiet right now, however, and family is wanting to know why.
Will you aid his family, and restore the place to a shade of what he intended for this facility, before he went quiet? What really happened? Where is his family?
Will you be able to use the information that the family has to it's best use?
And maybe even find out the greatest secret of all :
"I am looking from outside, and I don't even see so much as a carrot! Why is this called a farm?" :)

Crafting Tables
A series of crafting tables to expand your production.
Arrow station : Enchant normal arrows with frost, fire, and Shock.
Pulper : Convert wood items into paper.
Ink Station : Make your own ink
Scribe Station : Make your own scrolls and spell books, based on the spells you know.
Soul Gem Workbench : Convert normal and empty soul gems into larger or smaller sizes.
Cloth Processer : Converts unneeded clothing into cloth.
Sewing Rack : Sew the basic cloth clothing in the game.
Arcane Smelter : Acts Like a normal smelter, without the shoveling.

You can find this book for Free, in Nightgate Inn, on the barrel near the door, in the corner. (Where you find Foxy in the beginning.)

HM Thumpers Farm 1.3 (Main File)
Changes :
Added Arrow quest markers for all quests.
Changed Directions of Dressers in Barracks that were turned around.
Added Clothes changing functionality, based on package. (They change automatically. You don't choose for them)
Fixed some Dialogue that prevented Constance from offering to sell things later on.
In Honorhall Takeover :
If Grelod attacks you, Constance will not run away from you afterwords.
If you attack her first, Constance will still run, forcing you to do the DB quest stuff first.
If Grelod attacks you, you can continue with Constance immediately, without going to do the Dark Brotherhood quest before hand.
Guards and people will comment, based on if Grelod went "Psycho" or was killed.
Several points that were set up as doors are now assigned as Activators that portal you... to prevent issues with quests pointing to the secret doors, instead of the main entrance of the facility.
... And a host of other little things. (Those are the big ones though.)
HMTF2 DG 1.2 is up
Changes :
Added arrow quest markers mostly.
Other than that : Not much. Perhaps a few extra items in the prison, but nothing other than decoration.
