This is a heavy duty shield for tanks. It's huge. It's Heavy. It's Tough.

To Forge:
You must have at least level 3 Shield Wall of the Blocking perk tree.
(To use such a massive shield one would need at least a good idea on how to use shields effectively.)

You must have Tower of Strength in the Heavy Armour perk tree.
(To be comfortable maneuvering with such a shield a warrior would need to have gained a lot experience with utilizing Heavy Armour.)

The Dwarven Smith perk.

1 Dwarven Shield
1 Steel ingot
2 Leather Strips
4 Dwarven Ingots

To improve:
1 Steel Ingot
2 Dwarven Ingots

One of my followers, Kharjo, is who I made into my tank and he uses big beefy Dwarven armour. The normal Dwarven shield is big but a proper tank needs a proper tank shield so I started working on one and here it is!



I recommend using this mod for the best look regardless of whatever Dwarven pack you may have now... It's better:
