(Please excuse my messed up English. I will try to make this as easy to understand as I can)
Minor Update (5/25/2014) : Because of a problem some people ran into, I decided to change the equip type of these spells. So I changed it from Eitherhand to Voice. That will ensure the spells are only being equipped in the power slot and not the character's hands.
The concept of this mod is very simple. It allows you to equip some of the vanilla Skyrim spells in the power slot which allows you to have faster access to said spells. Mages might find this especially useful if they for example want to dual cast a destruction spell while keeping a healing spell equipped as a lesser power for immediate use when needed.
Now, this is my very first attempt at modding so if you have any advises/ideas on how to make this mod better please be sure to share them with me. Now here's a list of the spells that this mod adds as lesser powers.
Alteration Spells :
Oakflesh • Stoneflesh • Ironflesh • Ebonyflesh
Candlelight • Magelight
Paralyze
Waterbreathing
Conjuration Spells :
Banish Daedra • Expel Daedra
Conjure Familiar • Flaming Familiar
Conjure Flame Atronach • Conjure Frost Atronach • Conjure Storm Atronach • Conjure Dremora Lord
Raise Zombie • Reanimate Corpse • Revenant • Dread Zombie
Soul Trap
Destruction Spells :
Fire Rune • Firebolt • Fireball • Flame Cloak • Incinerate
Frost Rune • Ice Spike • Ice Storm • Frost Cloak • Icy Spear
Lightning Rune • Lightning Bolt • Chain Lightning • Lightning Cloak • Thunderbolt
Illusion Spells :
Fear • Rout
Fury • Frenzy
Calm • Pacify
Courage • Rally
Invisibility
Muffle
Restoration Spells :
Fast Healing • Close Wounds • Grand Healing
Heal Other
Turn Lesser Undead • Turn Undead • Turn Greater Undead
Repel Lesser Undead • Repel Undead
Circle of Protection
As you might've noticed, this list doesn't include all spells in the game. That's because some spells require constant casting and they wouldn't work as lesser powers. Or maybe the spell is meant to be given to the player only after a quest (Like all the master spells.) and I just thought it would be best to exclude it.
IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE (IF THERE'S ANYTHING ON THIS PAGE THAT YOU MUST KNOW IT'S THIS)
1. Even though this mod adds lesser powers you still need magicka to cast them.
2. These lesser powers will NOT help your character level up at all.
3. These powers cost a little more to cast than the original spells. (Just think of it as a small price to pay in exchange of using spells with no casting time.) This isn't my doing, It just happens that the higher your level is in a certain school of magic, the less it would cost you to use spells from that school regardless of what perks you have unlocked. Lesser powers, unfortunately don't benefit from that and will cost you as if your level is 0 in any school.
4. This mod modifies all the leveled lists related to spell tomes, which means it might conflict with other mods.
5. Lastly, you should be able to purchase the tomes from anybody who sells magic related stuff.
Oh! and know that you're awesome for reading this far.
