T3nd0's Skyrim Redone is amazing but unfortunately a bit broken and not in development anymore. The unofficial patch has not been updated in a while either so I tried to fix it for myself, though I decided to share it on the nexus in case anyone else enjoys the timed block mechanic and wants two of the best perks in the game complementing it.

The fix requires both T3nd0's Skyrim Redone as well the Unofficial SkyRe Patch, though only their main files are needed.

Make sure the file "SkyRe_Barrier+Fencer_Fix.esp" comes after SkyRe_main.esp and SkyRe_main_Fix.esp in your load order or otherwise your game will crash.
