This actually started after I was a somewhat horrified upon finding my first elven bow in-game. I thought it looked far too bright and garrish compared with everything else in Skyrim. The biggest culprit in my view was a sickly, green-ish tone mixed in with all that yellow ugliness.

I opened the texture file in Paint.net and saw that it was ACTUALLY GREEN. So, I made some edits to the elven bow and arrow textures and uploaded them to the Nexus as a texture replacer mod.

A couple of other Nexus users then requested that I do the same to the whole lot of the elven stuff, so here you go!

Bassically, all I have done is made the colours more brown-red and muted, and applied sharpening to the textures that brings out some extra details. I feel the end result not only looks better at face value, it really helps the elven gear fit in better with the dirty look of everything else the game, whilst still retaining that elven feel.

To put it bluntly, wearing a full set of elven gear no longer makes you look like a Power Ranger running around in the snow!

I didn't make these textures, I just edited the Bethesda ones, so feel free to do whatever you want with them.
