Introduction :
Magicka Shield adds a new Spell to Skyrim, the titular Magicka Shield.

When active, this Spell will transfer all Health Damage the user takes to their Magicka. The exact ratio of Magicka Damage is determined by the user’s Restoration Skill; a higher Restoration Skill will reduce the amount of Magicka Damage the user takes.

Restoration 0 : 10 Health Damage = 20 Magicka Damage
Restoration 50 : 10 Health Damage = 12.5 Magicka Damage
Restoration 100 : 10 Health Damage = 5 Magicka Damage

Whilst Magicka Shield is active, the user cannot gain experience to their Heavy or Light Armor Skills.

Upon obtaining Magicka Shield, the user gains two versions of the spell :

The Standard Version, which is a Toggle-Spell, and can be cast on and off.

A Ward Version, which must be held in order for the effects to work.
Note : You may need to leave and re-enter the Menu to see the Ward Version.

Magicka Shield has no innate Magicka Cost, and does not prevent the user’s Magicka from regenerating, meaning it is effective for both Magic and non-Magic Character Types. If the users runs out of Magicka whilst using Magicka Shield, the Magicka Shield will automatically shut down.

Obtaining :
For users who want Magicka Shield immediately, upon loading the Mod you will gain the Spell Tome, Magicka Shield. This Tome can be used to learn Magicka Shield just like any other Spell can be learnt.

For those who would prefer to obtain Magicka Shield later, this book can be discarded and additional copies can be sometimes be found on Merchants who sell Spell Tomes.

Install :
1) Copy CDM – Magicka Shield.esp to your Skyrim/Data folder
2) Copy CDM – Magicka Shield.bsa to your Skyrim/Data folder
3) Check CDM – Magicka Shield.esp in your Data Files menu

Uninstall :
1) Deactivate the Magicka Shield Spell in-game.
2) Delete CDM – Magicka Shield.esp from, your Skyrim/Data folder
3) Delete CDM – Magicka Shield.bsa from your Skyrim/Data folder
