About this mod

Celt-inspired replacement for the garish vanilla Arcane Enchanter

Requirements
Permissions and credits
I have no idea what happened, but the Nexus did something silly and this disappeared for a while and got renamed to something else.

CELTICK ENCHANTING TABLE
==========================

That's "Celtick" as a mix of "Celt" and "Magick" :)

An item replacer modification by Autan Waspeez

Based on the Bethesda high-res textures, and edited vanilla mesh.

v.1.0

DESCRIPTION
===========

I don't know what other people see when they look at the vanilla Arcane Enchanter, but I see this:

It's a prop from the cheesiest heavy metal photoshoot, by way of World of Warcraft. Or possibly something you'd find in a shop selling Baphomet pendants and bongs. I can practically smell the patchouli oil. Sigh.

Here instead is a reworked version with a more Celtic/Nordic feel. Gone are those candles (who keeps lighting them, even in abandoned ruins and lost crypts?) and the goofy troll skull (not everyone's a necromancer, you know), and that pseudo-pentagram with its 'Pimp My Table' neon blue glowing symbols.

Instead is a triskelion design carved into the heartwood of an ancient tree (you should be able to make out the rings) with a more subdued glow and an aged bronze centrepiece. In the freestanding table version some decorative carvings are visible on the surrounding woodwork.

I made this for my own pleasure, but I'm very happy if anyone else finds it enhances their Skyrim experience.

It shouldn't conflict with any other mods except, predictably, ones that affect the Arcane Enchanter.
