About this mod

This armor set comes with 4k textures as well as optional 2k textures. It is for CBBE, UNP and SeveNBase. All bodies have working weight sliders. This armor is completely modular, which means it can be separated into the following pieces: Corset, Tights, Belts, Leg Strap, Boots, Gloves, Sleeves and Shoulders. The armor now comes in 5 colors.

(PLEASE do not ask me to convert this to any other body. I already took the time to convert it to three different bodys)

UPDATE: This armor now comes in 5 colors. I darkened the original and included brown, white, green and red in a single esp so you don't have to download them separately, they are all now in game. You can find the recolors in a chest at Belethor's, (check sticky post in comments section for exact location) Original must still be crafted.


The "Midnight Breed" is a black armor set that comes with 4k textures as well as optional 2k textures.It is for CBBE, UNP and SeveNBase. All bodies have working weight sliders.

This armor is completely modular, which means it can be separated into the following pieces: Corset, Tights, Belts, Leg Strap, Boots, Gloves, Sleeves and Shoulders.

Please keep in mind that this armor was made to look good on the lowest body weight. Corsets in general to not look nice with bigger breasts, so I would recommend keeping it at a lower body weight. (Especially for SevenBase) Also note that in some of the images, the armor looks somewhat grey. I have darkened it since then!

The armor can be crafted under the "Leather" category. You can also find the armor by typing "help midnight" into the console.

This is my second and most likely last armor for Skyrim. I'm planning on practicing with weapons, jewelry and hair as well as mods for other games.

  • Download the main file that has your body type with the Nexus Mod Manager.
  • If you want 2k textures, download them after following the first step.

If you choose to manually install the mod:

  • Download the main file with your body type and extract the archive.
  • Paste the Data folder in your Skyrim directory. Steam/SteamApps/common/Skyrim
  • If you want 2k textures, download them after following the first step and paste the Data folder in your Skyrim directory. (Like you did with your main file.)







If you choose to manually uninstall the mod:


  • Delete the files in data/meshes/armor/Midnight and data/textures/armor/Shadoweave as well as deleting the .esp from your data directory.

The tights tend to clip when crouching. The gloves have some clipping issues as well when in first person mode. The armor may take a second to load up, but it shouldn't drop your performance. If it does, PLEASE download the 2k textures. Download the 2k textures will help with your performance.

Also, I'm not good with weight painting at all, so the belts don't look perfect when walking. I tried my best with them.

The sleeves don't show up in first person and I don't have an exact way to fix this.

Q: Can you convert this armor to ____________ body type?

A: No.



Q: Can this armor be improved?

A: Yes, but only the tights, corset, gloves and boots can be improved. I did this just so you couldn't improve all of the modular pieces and have a ridiculously powerful armor.



Q: Will you add any more colors?

A: I will probably only add them if they are highly demanded.



Q: Why didn't you make it so I could change the armor color in game?

A: I am planning to do this in the near future.




Q: Why does my FPS drop when I wear this armor?

A: Download the optional 2k textures.




Q: Why does it ask me to overwrite a file called "chitin_e_ebony.dds"?

A: I put the cubemap in just to be safe. If it asks you to overwrite, feel free to say "No".
