I have either hated or loved walking through Riverwood. I've tried multiple mods to give it some variety. Some did too little, and others too much. So I decided to give it a whirl.

I've added a few more trees to give some character and shade to the area. There are also more stumps to reinforce the idea that this is a lumber town. You'll also notice a few added plants, moss and vines as well.

There is also a full version for ETAC (Expanded Towns and Cities) (Which is what I use :D)
