This a visual setup guide which I made aimed at people who use the great lighting mod,Real Colors,Real Nights.First of all,I really like RCRN,but I'm that kind of guy who prefers the colours/lighting to be much more fantasy-like and vibrant.So,after some tweaking and configuring,I finally found the best setup for myself.So,I just wanted to shar

The amazing lighting mod,Real Colours,Real Nights is already amazing and beautiful at it's own.But I myself,prefer my game to look a bit more vibrant/fantasy-like.So after testing hundreds of times and customizing everything.I have finally made my own setup.

++-[HURR DURR RANDOM RANT BEFORE GUIDES STARTS]-++

Okay.First of all,I'm terribly sorry if my English is bad/broken/horrible,etc.English is not my mothertounge and I apologize if I make any grammar/punctuation/etc mistakes,okay?

And this guide will mostly be boring 'cause I don't know how to use and make fancy fonts/posters/stickers hurr

***NOTES AND BLEH***
This guide is aimed at Real Colours,Real Nights users.You may use it with Climates of Tamriel,but I can't guarantee it that it would look the same.

This guide is also made to make the game much better looking with a slight fantasy/vibrant with a mix of realism look.So,if you instead like a cinematic game,then,you might want to ignore this guide.

-++{STEP 1}++-

If you already have Real Nights,Real Colours installed,then uninstall it.I'll explain later.Anyway,after uninstalling RCRN,go download the ENBseries:

http://enbdev.com/mod_tesskyrim_v0252.htm

Why would you want an ENB? ENBoost of course! After downloading the file,extract all files from the WrapperVersion file into your Skyrim folder,yes your main Skyrim folder,not your data folder!

Open ENBLocal.ini and edit these:

[PROXY]
EnableProxyLibrary=true
InitProxyFunctions=true
ProxyLibrary=d3d9_fx.dll

[GLOBAL]
UsePatchSpeedhackWithoutGraphics=true
UseDefferedRendering=false
IgnoreCreationKit=true
ForceFakeVideocard=false

[PERFORMANCE]
SpeedHack=true
EnableOcclusionCulling=true

[MULTIHEAD]
ForceVideoAdapterIndex=false
VideoAdapterIndex=0

[MEMORY]
ExpandSystemMemoryX64=true
ReduceSystemMemoryUsage=true
DisableDriverMemoryManager=false
DisablePreloadToVRAM=false
EnableUnsafeMemoryHacks=false
ReservedMemorySizeMb=128 <--Edit accordingly on your vRam/Ram
VideoMemorySizeMb=2048 <---Edit accordingly on your vRam/Ram
EnableCompression=true <--disabling this will reduce stutters,but uses up more memory.
AutodetectVideoMemorySize=false

Done? To the next step!

-++{STEP 2}++-

Now,you can safely install RCRN using it's auto-installer.When installing,it'll detect the ENBseries and ask for permission to auto-configure the ENBSeries.Say yes and let it install.

After RCRN has finish installing.Start RCRN's customizer and change these:

Preset Selectors : Classic (change to Pure if you want pitch black nights and scary dungeons)
Volumetric Fog : Subtle
Weather Frequency : Average
Snow Textures Fix : Avg Res (This is a must,without it,snow will start glowing and will blind you like a flashbang)

Then press the Injection+ section on the customizer and change these:

RCRN Antialiasing : FXAA
Sharpening : High
Saturation : High
HDR Power : Default

Done? To step 3!

-++{STEP 3}++-

Now download the SweetFX preset on the files tab! Unpack it and extract anywhere,I recommend extracting to desktop for convinience.

Copy everything in the file and paste it into your main Skyrim folder.

After that,open ENBLocal.ini and notice that it writes:
[PROXY]
EnableProxyLibrary=true
InitProxyFunctions=true
ProxyLibrary=RCRN_d3d9.dll

change it to:

[PROXY]
EnableProxyLibrary=true
InitProxyFunctions=true
ProxyLibrary=d3d9_fx.dll

Done? To the next step!

-++{STEP 4}++-

Now,go download Imaginator:

http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/13049/?

and the Imaginator MCM Menu:

http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/35581/?

Done downloading both? Next step!

-++{STEP 5}++-

Start up your game! Go to the MCM menu and find Imaginator and click it,click it!

Configure these:

PRESETS:

Warm Northern Lights : 0.1
Magic Hour: 0.1
Parchment Overlay : 0.1
Pop Photo Shoot: 0.1
Cool Midnight: 0.1
Warm Desaturation : 0.1
Nice Overall Enhancement: 0.2

CINEMAGIC:

Sunlight : 3
Sky: -1

Bloom : High - 1

TINTORS:

Green - 2
Magenta - 4

And so that's it! You're done! Yay and hooray!

~LET ME GUESS,YOU HAVE QUESTIOOOONS..?~

Q : My eyes are burning! The lighting is too bright!
A: Decrease the value of Sunlight.

Q:The sky looks black at night/Sky is too bluish!
A:Increase the value of Sky.

Q:I want the colours to be more vibrant!
A:Increase Saturation in the Imaginator MCM menu.

Q:The sunglare looks dull and not bright!
A:Increase Sky value.

Q:Interiors are way too dark.
A:Decrease the value of Nice Overall Enhancement.

Q:Umm,why does the game looks soft?
A:This is the because of the SweetFX's gaussion blur effect to give a better fantasy look.

Q:Why use 1.4 ver of SweetFX and not the lastest version which is 1.5.1?
A:'Cause version 1.4 has the Gaussion Blur effect and an option to link it with other d3d9.dll.

Q:Ugh! What's this bright glow on the ground/my char/objects?!
A:Change Bloom to Low - 1.

Q:Will you ever make a guide like this but for,CoT users?
A:Maybe not...I'm terribly sorry,friend.RCRN will probably stay in my load order forever.

Q:Hey,I heard Imaginator had save bloating problems!
A: Yes,I'm quite aware of that.But it seems the save bloating problem is caused by the Summonable Imaginator Helper.That's why you should use the Imaginator MCM.You want prove? Well,I can say that my 60+ hour save file is still at a stable 10 mb size,this is because my Skyrim is quite heavily modded.
