About this mod

A simple mod that changes the effects of food and drinks in Skyrim.

This is a simple mod that alters how foods and drinks in Skyrim affect you. Eating and drinking regularly can make you stronger, faster, and smarter. All foods fall into four categories:

Snacks: All light foods (apples, breads, cheese, etc) are perfect snacks for the adventurer on the go. Eating regularly will help you carry more stuff and avoid injury to your arms and legs.

Lunch: When you can stop into town, be sure to swing by the local tavern to purchase or cook up some great lunches to go. Eating regularly will enhance your focus, increasing the chance to score a critical hit on your enemies.

Supper: Eating these wholesome meals regularly will enhance you ability to think and learn, as well as boosting your overall strength.

Sweets: And what meal complete meal wouldn't be complete without a sweet roll or slice of fresh apple pie. But be warned, it may give you a sugar rush!

And to quench your thirst, how about a pint of ale. Nothing says, "Strike down your foes with a mighty blow," like Nord mead. And for you scholars and mages, how about a simple red wine to unlock the mysteries of hidden magic.

Also, it his highly recommend that you avoid eating raw foods. They are known to contain pesky diseases that could seriously hinder your adventures.

Oh, and when you feel like cooking up that horker stew, make sure you have some empty bowls on on hand. You're not going to eat that with your hands, are you? Short on bowls or plates, no problem. Just take a log of firewood and carve it into that useful utensil.

Plus there's great news from the East Empire Trading Company. Due to high demands, they have increased the supply of Salt Piles throughout Tamriel. Unfortunately, meeting these demands has resulted in moderately increased prices.

WARNING: All three Official DLC's and the four Unofficial Patches (available here) are required to use this as it effects every available food item in the game. This should not conflict with any other mod, as it only makes "internal" changes to food/drink items.

UPDATE: Eating raw food will now provide a Moderate Healing benefit to Vampires and Lycanthropes.

If you experience any issues, or find that I missed a food item, please leave a note in the comments section. Thanks!! Enjoy.
