About this mod

Performance-Friendly, low-FX ENB Preset for use with RCRN AE Classic. Enhances the already superb lighting work found in RCRN Anniversary Edition and tweaks some not-so-superb lighting effects.

Permissions and credits
RCRN is a fantastic overhaul of lighting effects in Skyrim. However, it's a standalone product. It's not designed to be 100% hunky-dory with your SUPERHDCOLOREXPLOSIONENB. It'll run, sure, but chances are it's not going to look the way the RCRN people were going for.

However, I didn't quite agree with the way some lights looked with RCRN in Vanilla. Some surfaces shine way too hard. Certain weathers are too bright, or too dark. Dusk and Dawn in some parts of Skyrim seemed like they were unnaturally bright when they should be getting no sun.

SUPER BRIGHT - Before

Normalized lighting - After

So with only a few ENB configuration tweaks, I made what I consider an "Enhanced Vanilla" ENB.

Most FPS-consuming effects are disabled, you won't get DOF from this. Shadow fixes and cloud shadows are in effect, I tweaked the Time of Day settings, and there's directional, point-lighting, and lightsprite edits. A lot of it's subtle, RCRN does most of the work!

You should only experience about a 5 fps drop when using this preset.

--Installation--
Simply unzip into your Skyrim folder and let it overwrite.

==Requirements==
RCRN AE (I use the classic preset in my screenshots, pure might be too dark in version 1.1. Legacy is probably fine.)
ENB Version .245 (might be compatible with lower versions in some capacity, but you'll be missing stuff)

--Release Log--
v1.3
Fixed cloudshadow data so that it isn't basically night time when it's cloudy. Minor tweaks.

v.1.1 : 1-14-2014
Re-adjusted ambient lighting at night, outdoors scenes at night will have a slight reddish hue from the light of Masser, the large red moon that orbits Nirn.

v.1.0 : 1-13-2014
Initial release, may release version with more tweaks if problem areas are detected.

If you like this preset, be sure to drop by the RCRN page and drop them an endorsement!
