I was tired of having Skyrim select crappy arrows automatically when I ran out of an arrow of a given type, so I cooked up this little mod to have it select the BEST arrows (by damage) instead. When the arrows are switched, the game will give you a quick message of which one was equipped.
I haven't tested this with any other inventory-dealing mods (like auto un-equip). Let me know if I can add anymore features you would find useful.
