About this mod

A Blessings Overhaul, given that the 8 hour duration blessings were more a kick in the shin and a poorly written apology note than blessings from supposedly all-powerful god beings. They now last 7 days, yup a whole week, and grant substantially more powerful buffs, but not game breaking.

V1.7 RELEASED

Notice

As of version 1.4 Balanced and Normal file versions have been discontinued in favour of a more balanced Complete file version. If It is not to your satisfaction the previous versions still exist in the old files section.
In order to safely install the new version I STRONGLY recommend you remove all amulets and buffs from your person before removing the old versions from your mods and then adding and activating the new version.

A second notice:
I have begun to experience the disappear Arkay's Shrine blessing, and having searched the small amount of changing my mod does, there is no reason it should not work. This to my logic tells me that my mod is not responsible for the removal of Arkay's blessing. But it is, so I must have done something I am unaware of.

Steps:
1. Remove all blessings and amulets from your character
2. Save
3. Remove old blessings file versions from mods
4. Install the new version

If these steps are not followed you may retain previous versions of the blessings and the amulet buffs, Skyrim is not kind to those who alter enchantments and buffs while characters are using them.

Note that the old versions all pre 1.4 files may contain the broken Amulet of Arkay, it's detect life buff doesn't work.

INTRODUCTION
The 9 Divines, all powerful, ever present, and moral beings, who apparently have no capacity to 'bless' their worshippers. The blessings received from these 'divine' beings to me were more like a kick in the shin and a poorly written apology note, not the all powerful blessing that would make me want to come and worship every day all day, and spout out nonsense about elves and humans, dirt, and writhing in our own filth. So I got the creation kit and went to work. So far I have overhauled all the blessings as well as the amulets.

The Mod comes in two flavours, for those who like a little more powerful god blessings there is the Normal Version, toting a whole variety of nice effects, check the Normal Version Forum for more information.
And for those who like a more 'vanilla' feel, I have a Balanced Version, and please go to the comments if you feel it is not as balanced as you would like it.

PLANNED IMPROVEMENTS
I may tweak, probably will in fact, most of these blessing stats if ever I or you, drop me a comment, or a pm or something, decide they are overpowered underpowered or just don't make sense.

COMPATIBILITY
I don't use scripts in this so if its below another blessing changing mod it will just overwrite whatever it does, unless it has scripts then those will stay and be nasty, so don't use this with other blessing overhauls if they have scripts, otherwise it is completely compatible with everything. I don't change the base blessing effects just in case something else uses them, I made my own, so it will be all good.
