Dawnbreaker seemed extremely lackluster for all the trouble. Chillrend kicked it\'s ass and it\'s just a history-lacking blue-tinted glass sword. This puts things right.

Dawnbreaker seemed extremely lackluster for all the trouble. Chillrend kicked it's ass and it's just a history-lacking blue-tinted glass sword. I upped the fire damage to 30 to match Chillrend's 30 frost, and upped the damage to 16 from 12 to top Chillrend's 15. Chillrend still has the added bonus of paralyzing the opponent, while Dawnbreaker has it's special undead-smiting abilities. This puts both weapons roughly on par. Chillrend is just tossed to you as a bonus weapon along the Thieves' Guild questline, so I felt it didn't need to be the best sword (I've found) in the game. :|
