DESCRIPTION
This is a standalone mod that adds a follower named Reiko along with several original weapons and armors. No other mods are required for this mod to work. The armors are fitted to Better Males/SOS, Body by Leito, CBBE, and UNP.

The Follower
Reiko can be found at The Bannered Mare in Whiterun. She is a Remnant, descendants of the humans(Akaviri) who once lived on the continent of Akavir. As their empire crumbled from the onslaught of the Tsaesci, large numbers of Akavirs left the continent to seek refuge wherever they could. A few settled in Tamriel and assimilated while others found new lands and rebuilt what they once had. The groups who have survived and held onto their ancient heritage are the Remnants. They are isolationists, preferring to keep their existence to be nothing but a myth to the outside world in return for safety. Why Reiko is in Tamriel at this time is a secret that she's yet to reveal.

Reiko is proficient in one-handed weapons and light armor (Combat Assassin), and prefers dual-wielding in combat. She is essential and a candidate for marriage. She begins a level 6 and levels all the way to 125 at the same speed as you.


The Weapons
Remnant Shirasaya
Reiko's starter one-handed sword. It shares the same stats as a Steel Sword. It can be crafted at the forge once you have the Steel Smithing Perk.

Remnant Katana
A one-handed sword that shares the same stats as an Elven Sword. It can be crafted at the forge once you have the Advanced Armors Perk. It'll be listed under the Steel category.

Remnant Nodachi
A two-handed sword that shares the same stats as an Elven Greatsword. It can be crafted at the forge once you have the Advanced Armors Perk. It'll be listed under the Steel category.

Dragonbone Katana
A one-handed sword that shares the same stats as a Dragonbone Sword. It can be crafted at the forge once you have the Dragon Armor Perk. It'll be listed under the MISC category.

The Armor Sets
Remnant Traveler's Set
Reiko's starter set that has the same armor stats as Fur Armor. This armor set can be crafted at the forge without any prerequisites (located under Misc). The robe, sandals, gloves, and cloak are fitted for females only but the hat can be used by any sex/race.

Remnant Armor Set
Remnant Armor has the same armor stats as Scaled Armor. It can be crafted once you have the Advanced Armors perk under the Steel category. The set can be worn by both genders and all races.

Remnant Dou - Cuirass
Remnant Kabuto - Helmet
Remnant Kabuto Menpo - Masked Helmet
Remnant Kote - Gauntlets
Remnant Suneate - Greaves


BODY TYPE COMPATIBILITY
This mod allows Reiko to use either Body by Leito, CBBE, or UNP. Reiko's Starter Set Armor and Remnant Armor are also fitted to the bodies mentioned. Reiko will be be wearing underwear if you use a follower extender mod to fully unequip her, so this mod is safe for work.

Remnant Armor is also fitted to Better Males/SOS.

Beast races supported.


INSTALLATION
I recommend using Nexus Mod Manager to install/uninstall.

If installing from a previous version, uninstall the previous Main File and any patches. Install the newest Main File. Then install any of the CBBE, UNP, or Clean Textures patches if you wish.

-Added a craftable/temperable new weapon, the Dragonbone Katana. Same stats as Dragonbone sword, and found under MISC at the forge. Requires the Dragon Armor perk to craft.
-Added craftable/temperable gloves and a craftable cloak to the Remnant Traveler's set (Female only). There are no prequisites and found are under MISC at the forge. Reiko will be wearing the two new items when you first encounter her.
-Added a craftable/temperable masked version of the Remnant Kabuto. They have the same stats. Compatible with all vanilla races and both genders.
-Renamed the Remnant Bokken to Remnant Shirasaya. (Thanks OkitaSouji1992)
-Added an optional patch for those who use XP32's Maximum Skeleton replacer for males.

-Fixed a few texture issues.
-Compressed textures so they drain less resources, texture quality loss is minimal.
