The main file is a compilation of default follower Bows and Arrows. As long as you don't give your follower weaker items, they should use what you chose.
Update: Added new options that give your follower a single healing potion (50pts) and 12 Iron Arrows, and an additional option of one Healing (50pt) and one Magicka (50pt) Potion. No more worrying about them using a junk bow again!
NOTE: You will need to remove the hidden bow(s) from your follower to keep them from using the incorrectly tagged hidden one. Open console (~) select your follower, and type removeitem 10e2dd 1
You may need to use that command several times, depending on how many hidden bows they posess.
Installation:
Drop the ESP of your choice into your Skyrim\Data directory and make sure only one of the Follower<type>Bow.ESP files is checked in your Mod Manager.<br><br>Uninstallation:<br>Delete Follower<type>Bow.esp</type></type>
