The Smithing tree has been revised with the combining of some smithing perks and the creation of five new perks. I removed tempering from the individual Smithing perks and created new perks for armor and weapon tempering.

Crafting or tempering recipes have not been altered (it is unnecessary) and any mods adding new recipes will work if they require vanilla smithing perks.

Also, I positioned the perks to better resemble an anvil. I'd like to thank kryptopyr for his Smithing Perks Overhaul mod that influenced me to create my mod.

I recommend you use this mod with a new game only.

Here are the Blacksmith perks...

Blacksmith Novice: Renamed Steel Smithing perk.
Blacksmith Apprentice (30 skill): Gives you both Dwarven and Elven Smithing perks.
Blacksmith Adept (50 skill): Gives you both Advanced Armor and Orcish Smithing perks.
Blacksmith Expert (70 skill): Gives you both Ebony and Glass Smithing perks.
Blacksmith Master (90 skill): Gives you both Daedric and Dragon Smithing perks.

Here are the new perks...

Armorsmith: Can better temper any armor with a temper recipe (vanilla and mod-added).
Weaponsmith: Can better temper any weapon with a temper recipe (vanilla and mod-added).
Fire Resistant Armor: Each piece of armor worn receives 5% fire resistance for a total 20%.
Frost Resistant Armor: Each piece of armor worn receives 5% frost resistance for a total 20%.
Shock Resistant Armor: Each piece of armor worn receives 5% shock resistance for a total 20%.

For Arcane Blacksmith, I changed the description and removed its dependency upon Steel Smithing. Arcane Blacksmith still requires 60 smithing and it is required to obtain any of the Resistant Armor perks.

The Dragonborn version requires the Dragonborn DLC. It edits one perk added by the DLC and edits the Blacksmith perk descriptions to reflect the new armor types (Bonemold, Chitin and Nordic).
